What are soul gem fragments for? : V

Does anyone know whether the fragments can be combined into soul gems or something?

I do believe that is for a quest but I could be wrong. I did a quest that I had to find stuff to a sword..

Soul Gem fragments and broken weapon parts are listed in the "Clutter" section of the guide book.

Nothing. They are in the same table, labeled "Clutter", as things like Wooden Plates and Baskets.

I'm not entirely sure, but since some of the Radiant Quests have objectives that are in it's possible that someone might one day ask you to get a Soul Gem Fragment... or a Basket.

Clearly you haven't yet had the quest where you are tasked with retrieving a spoon...
