Heavy armor, one handed, block!

Archery to draw enemies closer and the fact that it's quite powerful this time around...

Fully perk Heavy Armor, Block, One-Handed. You need to equip shields to fully utilize the block skill.

If you really must use Two hander weapons or dual wielding then drop the block skill entirely, and take up the sneak skill instead.

Invest perks on the right branch of the Smithing Perk tree for heavy armor.

That is all you need for a "classic" warrior.

Why don`t you just play the game and decide what you think would be good for you. I know it sounds scary but believe it or not, you will have a hell of alot more fun figuring it out on your own then just taking someone elses build and ideas and running with that. Try thinking about if you were really a warrior, what skills do you imagine yourself being able to do?

Heavy armor and one handed. Also Block (dual-wielding is nice, but you can do godly amounts of damge other ways, and blocking saved my bacon several times). And Smithing (easy to level, much reward). If you're not set on being a pure warrior, enchanting is great too (enchanting+smithing=equipment that makes you a god among men).
