What are you most looking forward too?

Post » Sun Dec 12, 2010 5:44 pm

I cant wait to go and explore the wasteland, mainly to find locations like the Dunwick building or Andale. I think its great Obsidian are adding more Megaton sized settlements but its places like Andale that made fallout great, in my opinion.

What things you are most excited about doing in New vegas? Gambling? Role playing? The story? ect

Even though I'm not going to do it on first run, siding with Caesar's Legion.

After playing through the one sided war in FO3 so many times, theres nothing I'd love more than to be able to march on the citadel with an Enclave army, set fire to it and blow Lyon's head off in VATS at the glorious climix.

I'm looking forward to all the new weapons and the different mods. Energy Weapons mods are the ones I'm most looking forward to. That and all of the crafting stuff since I play high Repair charcters.

Probably the New Vegas GECK, and the extras that come with the CE. It really depends exactly on what they have done different (which gameplay-wise, supposedly isn't that much).
I'm very interested in seeing how the game tracks and reacts to the player, and I will probably like the main story as it unfolds.

**First time, I almost always play to break the game. I always fall through the floors and or get stuck in places (not just in Bethesda games, but very often in FO3 and Oblivion).

Well... if you enjoy that you will definitely have great fun with an Obsidian game

Agreed :P

But beyond that, I am looking forward to the anticipation of going through and doing things without knowing all possible outcomes, I want to go through it wondering "What happens next?" or most of all "What should I do here? What will be the outcome?"

And as previously stated I want to have a hunting rifle sniper. Since realistically they usually have scopes... I have 2 IRL with scopes.

Its a strange knack. The first time I went through that big hallway in Oblivion with the swinging blades, I fell through the floor. I also climbed over the Arena wall, and later the climbed atop the outer wall and hopped into the 4' deep endless lake with the floating central spire in it.

With FO3, I honestly tried to "activate" the vault toilet (and was totally caught off guard by what happened next :yuck:).

The way it seems that the story is structured around the factions and that the player gets the choice on who to support and not support. Also, increased usage of stuff like skills, stat checks etc.

The quests, dear god yes, the oldstyle fallout quests with great writing, the superior writing altogether, (Sorry, F3 was great and all but the writing kinda svckED.) The fact that I'll be able to screw around with all the factions, and that it's going to be like Fallout two and Fallout 3 had a baby, which was awesome.
