What armor do you like best?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 8:27 am

Ebony Armor looks the best, IMO. But I prefer the Daedric Armor. The Daedric weapons looks the coolest, again, IMO.

Glass armor, most def. Shiny to attract dragons for easy slaughter. Light, so it doesn't hinder performance. And, it's GLASS ARMOR.

Yeah ! I like the Fur Armor alot, but it makes my character looks a little fat, you know ?

Just like scaled armor looked on my char, lol. That's why I reverted back to my Leather armor (I still wear the first one I found...I managed to reach 474 AR so far with some Smithing and 100 Light Armor plus all it's perks).

Full Scaled Light Armor, all except for the head piece. I use a Mage hood instead.

Orcish is pretty BA looking... I actually like every heavy armor set above steel besides dragon (I neither like nor dislike dragon).

Pretty much every armor set in this game looks balls to the wall awesome.

Skyrim IMO has the best looking armor in the whole series as a whole, though Morrowind gets lots of bonus points for having Bonemold and Indorill armor, the latter of which is probably the most bad-ass looking armor in the whole series. Especailly since only the elite guards of the city Vivec wore them :P

My favorite armor currently is Steel Plate. It just looks totally bad-ass and is perfect for my Paladin character. I'm not high enough level for ebony yet though. I'll probably switch to that when I get there.

To bad all cloth dont move or "flicker"...only Ive seen in the game is the some banners.....and that makes some of the ropes meh in the game. But I think I prefer the Dragonarmor, looks kinda Nord"ish.

I agree with this

It's probably the 2nd most evil looking armor set besides Daedric

Also I love how many variations of armor there are in this game. I.E. there's at least 4 different types of steel armors (ancient, plate, standard, imperial), 3 different types of fur armors, studded leather and leather, etc. It's so refreshing compaired to Oblivion's "every armor in a type looks exactly the same".

i haven't really decided on a favorite, but i can say that i do not like the heavy dragon bone armor. it certainly does look like dragon bones (which makes sense) but i think it looks ridiculous imo

only 2 sets i need for my Argonian...
Fine Shoes + Rugged Trousers - Skilled War vet

Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armor, im good - High Payed Merc

and if i played a Warrior Plate wearer, Orcish would be my prefered choice...it would be cool if Bethesda made Smithing to where you can smith any Armor that isnt Iron / Steel or Hide / Leather into full Armor ratings so we dont just pic the best armor with the best stats, we can pick what we like
Although like we all secretly agree Daedric armor looks badass, it only looks slightly more Badass then Orcish

I like Steel Plate, and Steel, and Ebony's all right, too.

But Dragon Scale makes me regret going Heavy Armor...

I don't wear an armor ( I wear fancy clothes enchanted) but my vote goes for the ancient nord armor, i'm just old school like that.. Too bad Bethesda didn't make something special about it..they are actually not as easy to find compared to all the other armors. I find 1-2 full ebony or steel plate dressed foe like every 20 min..meanwhile finding a full set of ancient nord armor is not easy at all. I'm collecting them. :)

Someone could help me with a Rogue Build ?

No i don't like the Nightingale, Thieves Armor.. Just as the Daedric, Ebony, Dragon, Glass, Elven, Dwarven ones... I prefer the old-fashioned armor, such as Leather, Fur, Iron, etc..

My character should like kinda like Russell Crowe in the Robin Hood movie.

http://metropolecultural.com.br/site/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/2010-Russel-Crowe.jpg

But in this pic he ain't using a hood, but he have one.. My characer will should have a hood too..

Any ideas please ?

Dragonscale without a doubt.

As a hunter character it's all the more awesome knowing I hunted the dragons needed to make and improve it, and took their hides :D

The different armors in Skyrim look (besides technical grafics improvement over the years) better then those in Oblivion but for me still so much worse then those in Morrowind (Glass, Deadric and the red one you get from the king of gramfeste).
However pure comparison in Skyrim I say glass (ONLY if replaced by better textures, more shadows and a d3dll like i did) is my favourite.
If I haveto rate based on rpg feeling nearly all the armors the npcs looks well and matching

Light: Dragonscale (for a warrior) or Shrouded (for an assassin / thief)
Heavy: Banded Iron or Wolf armour
