Everything you've mentioned sounds great. I think that this has such potential to be a really exciting game - even if it fails on some accounts of representation of Tamriel, we can let our imagination run wild nonetheless.
As strange as this may sound, the main thing I'm excited about (besides an opportunity to play TES alongside other TES fans) is the opportunity to see
someone doing Elder Scrolls who isn't Bethesda. If this makes any sense, what I mean is the idea that a new development team who have access to a firmly established IP can make something new with it, while being totally faithful to the lore. If they do it well, it's a wonderful sign to all the creative lore fans that you can really do something great even if you're not the main development team. Of course I'm not trying to promote anything illegal, but you get the idea. Big teams of people can be really creative with Tamriel even if they aren't the origin of the basic idea. Of course, we really already know this with OOG writings from ex-devs. In truth, modders like the Tamriel Rebuilt team are already pioneers of "creating within Tamriel" but I still feel like this is something new.
As for tangible, witnessable things, I think I'd agree with you that seeing the Tribunal at the height of their power is pretty exciting. Also seeing Black Marsh, which I assume is the most thoroughly alien of all the provinces of Tamriel (think Avatar, then add the weirdness of Morrowind a hundred times). And even more so, Khajiit history and culture. Typically they are very private and do not like to speak about their traditions with foreigners, and this is the one game where it makes no sense to have the player assumed an "outlander", so the player is a part of this unexplored history.
