What countries would you like to visit?

Post » Thu Oct 11, 2012 11:00 am

This is just a random topic, but I am curious as to what countries are on people's top priorities for visiting? Like, if you could go anywhere in the world without the concern of money, where would you like to go? For me, it would be France followed by South Korea, Japan or somewhere in Asia. China has a fascinating history too, but I disagree with their political style let's say...

I'd love to visit Mongolia one day, or one of the Russian federal republics on the Mongolian border, like Tuva. Sadly, that won't happen anywhere in the near future.

Scotland

Visit at your own risk! Rain and wind 24/7 woop!

At the risk of sounding very arrogant, I actually already do visit places without concern for money. France is a nice place, Montgenever (the second last e has an accent thigny) was an amazing experience for me

As for placed I'd like to go, pretty much anywhere.

I'd like to go on holiday in Greece again some time, and I'd love to revisit France - I was only eight last time - and get to know it much better. But those answers are boring, and the places I'm most interested in learning more about are further East. Palestine and Pakistan are both on my list to visit one day, and I also find India really fascinating. And Turkey, too, perhaps... Maybe some of the North African countries too, although only after they settle down a bit.

Mainly because of my interest in ancient history Iran, Iraq, Syria and Tunisia. Sadly 3 out of those aren't nice places to visit atm.

Hungary and Romania (would restrict my visit strictly to Transylvania) because it's my homeland. For foreign places... Scotland, Switzerland, Mongolia, Australia, Nepal, Peru.

For all the folks wanting to come to Canada; don't, nothing to see here folks. :P

All of them. Spain, Morocco, France, and Scotland are on the top of my list right now.

I've actually been to France before, but I loved the Loire Valley and Brittany so much that I want to go again.

All of them.
Yes.

Specifically:

Italy - I'm more Italian than anything by heritage, and I want to see Venice
Japan - I speak a bit of the language, I'm fascinated by the culture and (rural) aesthetic
Norway - Gotta hang with my Norwegian bronies
Australia - I want to box kangaroos and run screaming from spiders the size of my fist
