What did you do when you desperated?

Getting out of the house always helps my depression, although I'm somewhat limited by my lack of a car.

But really, when/if I'm depressed, I get out of the house and get some air. It's better then being inside in my opinion.

That post might be deleted, but for a lot of people, myself included, that just makes me feel worse.

I have a hard time figuring out how to alleviate depression for myself, I've started therapy but it isn't going anywhere. If it's a serious, prolonged depressive episode (especially if it's grief), just waiting it out might be the best solution. I know it's hard, and it's hell, but that is your best bet if nothing else works. (Aside from seeking medical help, but it might be better not to if it's grief)

Listen to metal, play games, visit the forums, eat good food.

Basically what I do 24 / 7 anyways.

I pick a TV show, anime or movie series and power through it. Doesn't really make me feel any better, but it's the only thing I've ever been able to do when depressed.
