I have a quick, easy English question to ask anyone who knows.

I wonder what this sentence mean: "You can however do me a favour and plug the mod, I would appreciate that."
I don't understand what "plug the mod" means...

It was in this full context:
"Thanks again for the compliments. Man, you have my permission to use those textures. You can however do me a favour and plug the mod, I would appreciate that."

I'd imagine the mod creator wants you to spread the word around about the mod. To "plug" something, in this context, means to advertise it, or "plug" it into your conversations.

It basically means he/she wants you to credit him/her for using their textures. "Plug" in that sense means to endorse/promote it openly.

Advertise seems strange.... and it wouldn't be possible to have any conversations in the mod.

For easier understanding, I got permission to use some cloud textures from a guy who has made a weather mod. I'm also making a weather mod.

@Velorien: Thanks and haven't seen you for a long time (ever since I was hanging around the Skyrim general forum before the game was out)!.

It seems most logical he means that I should credit his mod & him, so that will be what I will do (I asked him what it meant but he hasn't replied yet, so that's really why I'm here on the forums ^^).

Yeah he's just asking you to advertise that you got the textures from him by writing a link back to his mod when you release yours.

Out of curiosity, what is your native language?

Then I think he means that when you release your weather mod, you should give him credit and say nice things about his cloud textures.

Basically if you like the clout textures enough to use them in your mod he just wants you to say that to others.

That seems reasonable.
