what does your follower wearuse?

as the title says, what do you give to your follower to wear, and what weapons do they use?

right now, my character has legendary daedric armor, gauntlets, and boots, and an execution hood from the beginning of the dark brotherhood quests. (i must say, it's hilarious watching your follower run around with a sack over their head!)

for weapons, i usually just give my follower some kind of powerful one handed weapon, a bow, and a shield. right now my follower has an ebony war axe that has a chance to paralyze for 6 seconds (can't remember the exact name - ebony war axe of ____) that does 83 damage, an ebony bow that does around 75 damage, and an ebony shield of resist magic. I used to have lydia who used the giants club, but she died and i could not get the club back :(

I also make sure my follower always has a sufficient supply of healing potions

so, what do you give to your follower to use?

My character once ran from the northwestern corner of Skyrim to the southeast one with nothing but boots, a loincloth, and his trusty battle-axe Matilda. Please don't ask him why he did it, it just seemed like a good idea at the time.

Matilda is an Elven Battle-axe of Devouring (drains 15 hp), smithed to super-Legendary sharpness. Tiberius doesn't go anywhere without her.

Ria wears Dragonbone Armor and sheild and uses a Deadric sword. She also has a fortify health ring and Shock resistance necklace. Found out that once I Wabberjacked her so that shes would level up she was more then able to handle herself at level 30 (think she maxes at 25). WIth that said now that I'm level 40 its starting to show that shes isn't stealing the power from dragons (my reason my character being so strong) like myself. But it has been awhile since iI've reupgraded her armor and weapons so that might help.

I make a set of Legendary Plate, Ebony or Glass for my followers and put some nice enchantments on for them. I usually leave a set with each follower, but only with ones I will use again. The ones I try out I use their stock armor until I have decided if they are worthy.

My housecarls are normally dressed as wenches and barkeeps when off duty. (I made a small private mod that among some other tweaks changes their base outfit to that effect. It also enables them to be quite appreciative and not picky at all over whatever armor I might give them).

When on duty, they usually have ebony, though Lydia wears dragon bones.

I give my followers immensely better armor than me.(I'm using a set from dawnguard(no spoilers!) and my follower has Daedric.
