What else should be added with Hearthfire?

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 8:01 pm

First i'd like to mention, i'm a ps3 player and I'm not complaining about the lack of Dawnguard or anything, i could care less.

to the meat of this topic. so they are allowing us to build a house any were, awesome. but will every house look the same? i mean aside from optional greenhouse, or enchanting tower, can we chose to have a porch or no porch? Can we chose Nord architectural or Orc? maybe imperial? will we see something similar to what Fall out did as far as inside?

What about the cows outside during the trailer? is there a purpose to them? are they just aesthetic or do they serve a purpose? what about the children? how many can we adopt?

Can your house be destroyed and your family left homeless? do you have to build a house to adopt? will you be able to fast travel to your house? will you be able to move your house?

any other questions guys? lol

I would like to see Seasonal Foliage come out cause it would add more to my character being a hunter. This whole hearthfire DLC will add more to my character being a hunter I hope it comes out for ps3.

I hope they add the ability to favorite your steward/companions equipment so that is what they will use. Same thing for your spouse so you can change their clothes.

Since it's out on Tuesday, I'd say it's a little late for suggestions.

No, You don't need a Hearthfire house to adopt. But i am preety sure you would like to Have a house. Otherwise the kid will just follow you around Scream and be like that Annoying Kid in fallout 3

Let's make a story while we go.

Maybe the cows will provide the first and only Non-alcoholic Beverage in Skyrim....

MILK!

I've always been called a Milk drinker, but I never knew the stories were true.

I've oft said, and still believe, that the term "milk-drinker" does not mean "consumer of cow milk", but rather "person who's mother still briast-feeds him".

One thing that may be possible is that each of the three sites might offer different architchture options. The houses in Dawnstar and Winterhold are different from those in Falkreath.

to the meat of this topic. so they are allowing us to build a house any were, awesome.
Agreed.

but will every house look the same?
I think that there will be some potential for variation. Also, a house built in the snowy pale may be different from a house in sunnier Falkreath.

i mean aside from optional greenhouse, or enchanting tower, can we chose to have a porch or no porch?
Porches are optional at city houses, should be here, too.

Can we chose Nord architectural or Orc? maybe imperial?
Probably just Nord, but maybe different variations of it.

will we see something similar to what Fallout did as far as inside?
Themes? Yes, we can choose decor.

What about the cows outside during the trailer? is there a purpose to them?
Good question. Milk them, maybe? Make cheese?

What about the children? how many can we adopt?
At least two. Scuttlebut says no more than that, but I could be wrong.

Can your house be destroyed and your family left homeless?
If so, I expect you can rebuild.

Do you have to build a house to adopt?
Hope not. My Dunmer wants to adopt, and just bought Proudspire Manor. It would svck if she wasted 25,000 septims.

Will you be able to fast travel to your house?
Almost certainly.

Will you be able to move your house?
No, unless you reload an olod save and choose a different location.

I would like to see Seasonal Foliage come out cause it would add more to my character being a hunter.
That's unlikely, I'm afraid. It would require a massive revamp of the game world. Just do what I do, and figure that Nirn has negligible axial tilt. Ergo, no seasons.

I hope they add the ability to favorite your steward/companions equipment so that is what they will use.
They should always choose the best armor/weapon. The fact that they don't is a weird glitch.

Same thing for your spouse so you can change their clothes.
Maybe change them into some naughty nightwear?

I want a pet fox and a pet snow wolf. My kids will need to learn responsibility at an early age. I also want to equip them with crossbows.

...and I want them to fix the interaction feature to make it easier to manually decorate my home. That is all.

Do you know that if they wont manage to fix dawnguards problems on ps3 and release it, every future DLC will suffer the same fate?

It was in the game jam video so I dont see why they wouldnt add it, seems like a pretty simple thing to add.
