What ESO can learn from Defiance (3-platform MMO)

Hey so now that ESO is being released for the three platforms, I figured that this would be relevant

I play a game called http://orcz.com/Defiance, which is also an mmo released on three platforms. It is the latest one released and one of the few MMOs ever that were all platforms.

Since 3-platform MMOs are pretty rare and since ESO will also be one, I think its important that ESO learn from the experiences of Defiance to make the game better

Just a few things on Defiance:

-Free to play, but with cash shop and paid DLCs

-Released for all platforms (PC, Xbox, PS3)

-Was NOT cross platform (all servers were separate)

Anyway as an MMO that was released on three platforms, it was open to a larger audience which brought in more players. However, what we have to look at is what is not working so good and hopefully Bethesda can learn from it and improve so that it doesnt enter the same pitfalls:

Patches: Sometimes the Playstation patches were delayed, from weeks to even a few months. This really infuriated the Playstation community, which often had to live with bugs for a long time. I hope ESO will do better with applying patches in a timely manner to all three platforms

Interface: The user interface was overly-simplified, to accomodate console users. This infuriated PC users which called it a "console port". I hope ESO will have an advanced user interface for PC at least.

Chat: Since Console players dont really use keyboards that much, the chat was silent. There was still voice chat and stuff but some of the console users complained the game did not feel like an MMO since nobody was talking to nobody and everyone was just soloing stuff. I hope ESO will have a better way for Console players to communicate so that it feels like an MMO and not an online single player

Anyway if anyone else has anything to add feel free and I hope ESO will be able to address those issues

The devs have said that Mac and PC users will have their own platform, and PS4 will have it's own too (I forget the source sorry)

Edit: sorry pressed the button too quick.

Forgot to ask you which you'll be playing on, I'm totally O.K with the idea as long as the PC released doesn't suffer haha.
