So what's everyone's armor and weapon(s) setup?

Post » Fri Oct 26, 2012 5:34 am

On my main character which is a level 58 (or 57?) Nord Warrior he has the following.

Two dual weilded enchanted Dragonbone Swords (One with a soul trapping enchantment and the other with a fire enchantment)

Enchanted Dragonplate Armor (not sure which enchantments)

Enchanted Dwarven Crossbow (fire enchantment)

Mehrunes Razor (I don't actually use it but I just have it just in case)

All of them are at Legendary smithing levels.

So what setups do you guys have?

Mehrunes Dagon? that's not a weapon/armour.

I used to be a big fan of ebony armor + Nahkriin and a dragon bone sword with an ebony shield, but I later decided that he could lend well with a more insidious appearance, and decked him out in daedric gauntlets and boots, along with the Ebony Mail and a Daedric dagger. He's a Dunmer, and so far has looked badass in both sets. I also use an Enchanted Dwarven crossbow, and am slowly raising enchanting to get some more mileage out of my gear (level 45 atm, hoarding perks).

Currently going with a scale armor set (iirc waterbreathing on helmet, fortify light armor on armor, fortify carry weight/40% resist frost on boots [as the situation requires], fortify archery on gloves). 27% magic resist combined through my Elven shield and amulet. Frost damage glass war axe. +20% health regen ring.

This on an Altmer Vampire Lord, so with the frost resist boots and max. vampirism I have 90% frost resistance and that's not including the +27% magic resist. The game keeps spawning frost dragons and not the (much deadlier to me) fire-breathing variant.

Currently sporting guild master armor, shrouded hand wraps, blade of woe, ebony dagger of lightning, ebony bow of lighnting, circlet of peerless archery, and ring of peerless archery.

I'm gonna shoot for enchanted Daedric armor and bow when I get a chance to level up enchanting, and make duel-enchanted orcish swords. Probably will use this equipment for Draugr and Falmer hives, it gets boring sneaking up on them cause you can't slit their throats.

Diadem of the Savant, leather (carry weight on boots, one-handed on bracers), curved sword, ring with resist magic and necklace with resist fire. Not particularly exciting, but it works for me.

I'm currently in a full set of Daedric armour enchanted to reduce the cost of Illusion, Conjuration and Destruction by 50%, increase Magic Resistance by 25%, increase One Handed and Two Handed damage by 40%, make Pickpocket and Lockpicking 40% easier and move silently through Muffle. It's not the best set of enchantments I've used, just for fun this one really. I usually focus on simply element and magic resistance with fortify health and fortify health regeneration.

Archer without alchemy, that's what I'm trying now. Just and archer in light leather that is good with illusion too and sneak. Of course I stole the bow from the Companions haha.

When I get to a high level, I just craft a full set of Daedric gear and enchant it with what suits me and I duel-wield daedric swords (using only Spellbreaker against Dragons) although when doing The Dark Brotherhood I tend to use Mehrunes' Razor as well. My setup isn't exactly various but it like it :).

PS3 Skyrim, so my options are limited.

Right now - full foresworn gear. 2 Dwarven Daggers. She's an Amazonian-esque huntress, so that gear was perfect for her.

Foresworn gear is fully legendary (with 130% Blacksmithing potion) with 2 enchants - focusing on Carry Weight and Sneak. Some 1h increase... helm also has underwater breathing.

Dwarven daggers are legendary with Blacksmith perk to double it + 130% blacksmithing potion. No enchantments on weapons... I don't need them.
