Other than give you that armor, does it give your other shouts additional effects (it's supposed to power them up from what I hear). I asked because I watched a youtube video of someone's fight with Miraak and it looked like the shout created some kind of animated dragon armor summon/mini dragon that started attacking him. Does the shout itself give you that summon? Or is it an additional effect that's added to another shout?

I'm really confused about how it works lol.

I haven't used it as much as I probably should. I know the ancient dragonborn comes to help like a summon, it gives you the armor, and while Dragon Aspect is in effect all your other shouts are stronger. I need to use it more, but I think that's what happens iirc.

With all three words it gives you +25% power attack damage bonus, +100 armour rating, +25% frost/fire resistance, 20% bonus to shouts cooldown and if your health drops below 50% it summons the Ancient Dragonborn to aid you, who is able to shout himself (frost/fire breath, unrelenting force and maybe more).
The entire shot buff lasts 5 minutes.

Makes you a god? Paired with the orc's berserker rage, some good potions and the shout you learn in the DB hideout everything turns into paper. Except the big ghost guy you fight after returning his skull, he still almost killed me...

I have no idea how to fight Karstaag... o_o

Anyhow Dragon Aspect pretty much just makes you more powerful and has an awesome quick cooldown for Shouts. I think the Ancient Dragonborn summoned once during a battle for me. Also it looks cool. XD

You fight him by: Dragon aspect, Marked for death, a good follower that can summon a daedra, summon lucianne lachance, buff potions and a bunch of healing potions. Even then your still gona be up for challenge.

Thanks for the tip, he pretty much destroyed my character before I even had a good look at him when I tried before.

Get enchanted equipment to drop your Destruction magic cost to 0%. Then Use Incinerate non-stop.

Best enemy I have encountered so far. I killed him once in bloodmoon and he was a massive challenge there. I took him on with only dragon aspect and 3-4 ult healing potions and barely managed to beat him this time.(lv 50)

Now I just need to find the ebony warrior and challenge him.

One word: Increases power attack damage by 25%
Two words: as above as well as +100 armour rating, 25% resistance to fire and frost and if your health goes below 50% an 'Ancient Dragonbron' will be summoned to assist you.
Three words: as above as well as shout recharge time is reduced by 20%.

Any number of words does not change the recharge time of 5 but this shout can only be used once a day ( like powers).

If only the eyes glowed...

Summons Ancient Dragonborn 50% health left, 25% fire/frost resist, 25% more powerful power attacks, IDK about the rest, I havent used all three words yet...

I fought him twice. The first time, I turned into a vampire lord, Karstaag noticed he was losing, so he overloaded my 360 with copious amounts of icewraiths and completely locked me up.

The second time...I think I gained some respect for him and so turned back to my regular form. He was a good opponent.

Yeah I put off the fight. I got annoyed. I'll get to beating Karstaag sooner or later.
