What features of Win7 to turn of for better performance?

Hey guys

So yeah, I think the title says it. What features of Windows 7 would you disable/have you disabled to boost your performance?

I googled it several times but I can't decide which one's I should disable and which ones to keep.

The User Access Control seems to be a waste of time.

Besides turning off hibernation to free hard drive space, nothing.

Aero.

What does that even do? My rig complains that it runs slow and suggests turning Aero off every time I shut down Civ 5 (even though I haven't noticed any unusual lags or anything).

It makes the UI ugly by getting rid of the transparency effects and stuff. Set your theme to Windows 7 Basic and that's the same thing.

Aero.
I have Aero Peek disabled already, and I want to disable Aero Shake if that's possible. I never use Aero Shake but I don't know if it's worth the performance difference to turn it off?
