what female player want?

When i chated with my friends, I found that girl's expectation of the game is slightly different from boys. For example, I perfer exploring and decrating my property when I play the skyrim. anologically, I may favour adventure than fight. I am really appreciate the PVP only existing in one area and we can explore the other parts of world freely, but boys sometime don't agree about it. (some of them think that PVP should everywhere, which really scares me) what do you think? I hope game designers can consider about both side.

Welcome to the forums! Here's a fishy stick: http://t3ak.roblox.com/c5f60a5d46d0ffeb636deec73d204009

There will be people of both genders who have the same preferences as you. Fortunately, ESO is built with exploration and mind, while still having Cyrodiil as an entire zone for PvP with plenty of seiges etc to make them interesting. Open world PvP will not be everywhere, nor is it exclusive to just males wanting it. I think they've already decided to cast away anything to do with open world PvP, and hopefully Cyrodiil will be enough to compensate. Not much more to say other than that.

Well, I'll add my female opinions to this thread.

I'm not really all that big on pvp. I do participate some but it's more of a take it or leave it kind of thing. If I do participate in pvp, I enjoy group activities more than 1v1 or arena style battles.

As for PvE, of course I enjoy the element of exploration. I think everyone does regardless of gender. When I play Skyrim, I have the most fun going through dungeons, Dwemer ruins and creepy forts. I like the thrill of not knowing what's going to happen next. I like the danger element and having to fight my way through to the end. I love fighting the last boss and getting the treasure chest. And I enjoy finding the word walls. I find I have more fun doing that than actually playing through and doing all the quests. I'm sure I'll eventually get around to doing the main quest at some point. After all I finally finished Morrowind after having had it for 8 years.

As for property. I like my house in Skyrim. That's where i put all my stuff. I enjoy collecting every book I find in Skyrim. I tend to be a packrat. I installed a mod just so I would have more things to be able to pick up, like forks, knives and candelabras.

Coming from a boy that prefers PvP everywhere, I'm pretty ok with it being restricted to Cyrodiil as long as we get all we're promised there.

I am a fomer WOW player which back to the undergraduat time in uni. Because of the invitation of my classmates and friends, I stuck in PVP server for couple of years. what was so annoying is that always someone would kill you in the middle of the mission. Then, I moved to another server later. It doesn't mean that I condemn someone, you know, some people might be a little bit naughty.

On the other hand, it is not only about PVP but also about owning a property in the online game or some thing relexing. I hope that more xp will give to solve the puzzle of the mission instead of killing. e.g. multiple choice to finish the mission with cooperation of players or solely.

I love the separation of a separate area for pvp. It leaves choice. If the entirety of the map from edge to edge is pvp then you run into the problem of being to afraid to explore, or even go to certain areas because theres some pvp addict out there just waiting to power stomp someone 1/4 his level.

Sneaking through mobs and exploring the vastness of an area, while your way to low of a level to be there, is such a great feeling for me. Finding out whats just beyond the hill, or diving into the water and making a swim to a small island, exploration has always been a huge part of the series as a whole to me. Sure you could go on with the quest, but whats that shiny thing in the distance? and right before you get to that shiny thing, you say to yourself, oooohhh whats that even shinier shinier thing over that way, annnnd repeat.

As a dude, I do find myself as a minority in this in most mmos though, most people tend to like the grind, or pvp. I know theres others out there. Maybe Ill start an explorers guild.......

Everyone have a good day and peace ^^ good topic Ripley
