there is a Dwarven ruin north of Riften... you enter a circle with a glowing orb at its center and when you touch it something weird happens!
I fell like a hundred miles into the abyss!

did i do something wrong? does this fall suppose to mean anything?
is there some hidden door or chamber anywhere? coz i only found a way out which leads to another cave far from the ruin!

Ahh, Kagrenzel. One of my favorite dungeons. Yeah, that was supposed to happen. Don't worry though, you can still make it out of there. Just press on

Skyrim is an ancient land filled with many mysteries, tread carefully friend.

I think it's supposed to be like maybe a Dwemer execution or exile chamber, sending the convicted into the abyss to either survive in the dark or perish.

Granted by real world physics, that fall would have messed you up pretty good.

I've always suspected it might be a good spot to embark on a future DLC journey.

It seemed like such a dramatic setup.
