what kind of pc is best for skyrim?

is it normal to play on a laptop? what if i want to download mods and create my own armor and spells? i dont know if this is good or not, its brand new, but i have a gateway, and im going to read off a whole bunch of stuff;
  • AMD Quad-Core processor A6-3420
  • AMD Radeon HD 6520G with 512 MB Graphics system memory
  • 750 GB HDD
  • 15.6" 16:9 HD LED LCD
  • DVD-Super multi drive
  • windows 7
so, is this computer qualified to download and maybe create mods, if even compatable at all? and can someone please give a brief explanation as to what some of this means? i do plan on learning everything i need to know about modding, and i know that it will be hard, so im not ignorantly walking into a console with expectations of easeful progression. im 17, pick things up quickly, and i take the brain stimulant adderal, which is a form of amphetamine, so my level of focus and patience is very high. thanks in advance
