At what level can enemies no longer be raided from the dead?

When are they too powerful to be raised?

That depends on your spell you are using. Theoretically you can raise every enemy, except for story NPCs and Dragons.

Although I have to admit the moaning starts to get annoying after some time...

In the strategy guide it says the highest lvl spell that raises things from the dead is "Dead Thrall" which "raises creatures up to lvl 40" < Is there a way to raise this to a higher lvl?

Interesting question. If the limit on dead thrall is 40 and you're level 50 I guess that means most people will be scaled too high for you to resurrect, and the furthor past 40 you go the weaker you thralls will be.

Enemies don't scale past 50. And many enemies won't even go up that high. The game doesn't have all enemies match your level.

I would still find level < 10 Druagr in many dungeons when I was 30.

I have another thread about Dead Thrall going on too, but I believe Dread Zombie is higher than Dead Thrall. I can reanimate frost trolls and drougr scourges with dread zombie, but the corpses have resisted Dead Thrall.

Trolls probably resist dead thrall because they're not considered humanoid. Not sure about the draugr scourge. Would be nice if we could see enemy levels somehow.

Like someone else said, lots of enemies don't level past 40-50 range, and most don't even go that high. Coupled with how dungeons keep enemies at the level you entered them at, you'll always have fresh bodies. And while Thrall wont work on frost trolls and Draugr lords etc. the lower, non perma necro spells will.

Also you tell a enemies level range, by their name. Not an exact number, especially for the more vaguely named enemies, but at least its something.
