If spears are implemented in the next update/dlc (hopefully) what perk tree would you think it would benefit from like the crossbows using the archery perk tree, and would the 2 handed perk tree work well

I hope i will be able to use it hoplite-like.

I'm hoping that they get their own skill tree, spears just don't fit in with the other two handed weapons. The other two handed weapons are about brute strength, while a spear requires more skill. Even if they didn't get their own tree, whatever tree they end up in would need a perk added to it for spear specialty(like how axes have Limb Spliiter and Great swords have Deeo Wounds).

Probably 2h tree, using sword branch for critical bonus....be the easiest way (assuming they are 2h weapons of course)

If they gave it its own tree, they would also have to give both mages and thieves another tree. So, they will probly add it into 2-handed.
