I have like.... two dozen phones.

They are spread throughout the city and recharge when you put quarters in them.

An el cheapo Kyocera "dumb phone" with Virgin Mobile. I have no intention of getting a smart phone - my computer is at home and way better than one of those at what I need it to do. Those damn monthly plans are more than I pay for cable.

After nearly 6 years of faithful service, my phone died last year. Since I plan on soon-ishly switching to T-Mo (now that AT&T won't be buying them) I'm currently using one of my sibling's old blackberry.

Once on T-Mo I'll be getting the Galaxy S II short of something better coming along that I like more.

Same here. I love the phone (it calls and txts, what more do I need?) but hate Verizon.

I have a Nokia e71x (with At&t) that I've had for nearly 3 years. I will mourn the day it dies. I've had quite a few close-calls, including it getting completely soaked inside and out from a rain incident, but I've somehow always managed to bring it back to life.

I've got a Droid X, with Verizon. Luckily for me I've had Verizon forever, so I still have unlimited data for $30. Been needing to root it, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Sprint. Had a Palm Pixi, it survived a 30 minute soak in a pool, but didn't make it out of the impact of 145 pounds of bench bar being dropped on it. Now I have a pos slide phone. Getting either the Galaxy S2 or iPhone 4 on May 1st, I'll make sure they stay far from a weight room.

Google Nexus S with Wind Mobile. Unlimited everything in Canada for $29.00/month (first year) was too good to pass up.

Droid Bionic with Verizon (and real unlimited data!). Before that I had an iPhone 3 (blech!) and before that a HTC BlueAngel (CDMA).

Motorola something-or-other with TracFone. $30 for the phone 3 years ago and $100 a year for service and way more minutes than I'll ever need. I make 3 or 4 calls a year.

A pre-Elop Nokia of some description; dunno the exact model since I prefer email to actually speaking to people. I just use Tesco (O2?) to provide the service after finding out the hard way that Vodafone were unbelievably dreadful.

Vodafone were unbelievably dreadful.

To be fair, they aren't dreadful, just that the signal isn't very good as opposed to networks like O2 see what you can do

I myself have the iphone 3gs on Vodafone.

I never really got much of a chance to test out their signal as they'd never credit my payments to my account. I eventually gave up trying to get them to either sort it out or to pay it back. Apparently they "couldn't" refund me, I guess in Vodaworld the concept of financial transactions is as nebulous as that of customer service.
