Anyplace that the Falmer are present, but the creepiest I think is under Blackreach. The Falmer are so dang quiet. The only way to get through their areas is to be sneakier than they are. You are right about the lighthouse, because of the foul twittering of the chauruses.

anywhere with spiders

There are a couple of caves just filled with spiders and I've gone through them when I have the Voice of the Sky blessing that you get by reading the emblems on the way up to High Hrothgar. In those caves, the spiders don't attack then but they walk around and you have to walk by them all to the quest goal. So creepy!! :tes:

Blackreach has many creepy factors, but combine the eerie settings of that underground city with the blind Falmer stalking with malice intent, waiting for the slightest noise, then you'll have the creepiest place in Skyrim.

The creepy thing about Blackreach is that it's so HUGE.... and there is so little life there. A few falmer, a couple of centurions, some spiders, a giant, a gimped dragon, some falmer servants....

Not to mention the crepuscular lighting. Altogether, creepy.

:eek: Agreed. At the same time, there are certain aspects of Blackreach that are stunningly beautiful. (The giant glowing plants)

Placewise, it would have to be that cave in the vicinity of Winterhold, where, if the journals lying about are to be believed, the resident filthy elven necromancer has been murdering the local peasantry for use as undead servants/love-slaves.
Questwise, has to be the Dark Brotherhood business where you first tail, then muder, then stitch up the blameless son of the head of the Imperial security detail. I've had to abandon the char. who did that out of utter shame... pending appeal, I think I'll have to, with all due solemnity, delete them from my hard drive.

Indeed, but it's the only dungeon I've been to where I considered turning around and going back out because it creeped me out so much. ;o;

Yngvild... pure and simple.. that guy was a lunatic...

As for Frostflow Lighthouse, my Khajiit took it upon herself to wipe out the Falmer after Frostflow, didn't creep me out, but did make me angry... darn, dirty Falmer!! See a Falmer anywhere, KILL IT!

I've had so many playthroughs, but I've only ever done that quest twice, and the only reason I did it again was for the restoration perk. Horrible :/

I don't really mean to do it, but I have noticed that I avoid going anywhere near the lighthouse now.
