What Pony Videos Do You Like?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 3:47 am

What difference does it honestly make?

When I had HUB I watched MLP: FiM And rather enjoyed it. I'm a guy. So again, does it matter?

I watch:

Clone Wars
Generator Rex
Adventure Time
Regular Show
Ben 10

And a bunch of other shows with my kids.
I am not flaming. I was kidding. I just found it amazing that guys what My Little Pony. It's unorthodox to me. But in no way am I making fun. And I am a big fan of the Clone Wars. I don't even have kids, but I watch it every time it airs in tv. Mostly because the series got a bit darker and more mature with the content, which makes it more than tolerable and actually enjoyable. And the stories are good too.

i generally don't mind the mlp fanbase, but honestly, it does make a difference whether you're a guy or a girl.

I don't watch a huge amount of TV anymore, but there are a few shows I do still watch:

Archer (one of the few good American cartoons left on TV)
South Park
The Walking Dead
Tosh.0
Pawn Stars
Mythbusters (mainly the old ones, the newer ones haven't been great ever since they started running out of myths)

I will watch Bizarre Foods and No Reservations any time.

Occasionally I'll also watch Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, if it's convienient.

These are the only shows I deem worthy of TV time. I basically refuse to watch most anything else.

I tend to go for crime dramas, good sci-fi (of which there are very very few, imo), history, science, nature and home improvement (the construction/building side, not the furniture purchase/decoration side).
I don't tend to keep up with many shows on a week to week basis too often, partly because I just forget. Don't like planning my schedule around TV. But I'll catch up on shows via our cable On-Demand service sometimes.

Currently the shows I tend to watch most regularly are:

Walking Dead
Big Bang Theory
The Voice
Full Metal Jousting (surprisingly watchable)
Pawn Stars
American Pickers
Holmes on Homes (he cracks me up)
Face-Off (I like special effects stuff)
The River (not great, but I watch for Bruce Greenwood  )

Mentalist - loved it initially, but kinda stopped watching. Once in a while.
CSI:Vegas - occasionally (degraded after Season5 or so and when Grissom left I stopped watching for a year. Ted Danson is ok)
House (after 4th season I only watch sporadically now)
Sherlock (the British one set in modern day) - awesome stuff, wish it was longer, and I can't see the 2nd season yet).

There's no sci-fi/horror/fantasy serial on US TV that I currently like. Tried the USA Being Human recently but meh.

...that's about it for serial TV.

I watched the season finale of Spartacus: Vengeance. And I can say...I am disturbed. They killed off all six of the main characters in brutal and just plain disturbing ways.

My favorite character had a slow decapitation while there was the pitiful look on his face. R.I.P Ashur!

The season svcked.

MLP FiM ~ Only Cartoon I care to watch.
Two and a Half Man ~ Alright-Funny.
Big Bang Theory ~ Hilarious funny.
Criminal Minds ~ Favorite 'cop' show.
The Mentalist ~ James makes me laugh in this and show is good overall
Any CSI and NCIS show ~ They all are good for their own reasons.
Once Upon A Time. ~ Good show with a great story. With every episode I watch, my hate to that witch increases.

Those the are only shows I care to watch, or try to watch in that case. Other shows would stuff like Family Guy but don't care for them so don't bother.

The only American TV series I really think is quality is the wire. It's brilliant.

Peep show is good, although I didn't think much of series 7.

I don't really watch many shows.
