What script is this referencing? (Windhelm approach crash

I keep CTD'ing on approach to Windhelm, can't get very far before it cops out, i read something about possibly dodgey "nifs" so i delete the only one in my archetecture folder and now instead of a crash it's a lockup, either or, it's a pain! Im approaching up the river, going south along that path where the farms are as you approach windhelm (which is just on your right)

After looking at papyus im getting some refernces to some some script i dont recgonise:

What the heack is FMUpdSMQSTscript ? Something to do with the main quest i dunno.

Something about BYOH as well, i dont have build your own home installed, unless thats to do with tundra defense then im quite away from my outpost.

It just locks up around i dunno...100m or so away from the bridge to access.

I've tried a series of "mod remove/save/play" repeat but getting nothing consistant so far. Even tried the trick to force "good weather" as i heard that can help.

Whatever it is im stumped, any ideas?
