What's some cool stuff to do on the East Coast?

Post » Thu Jul 11, 2013 1:49 am

Specifically the North East Coast. It cannot take up too much time. Going through major cities is a major time sync. Trying to avoid those. Already passed through Maine, New York, and New Hampshire.

Looking for ideas on interesting but quick things to see near the Eastern coastline. Kind of capping off at New York City. So pretty much anything North of that. I have like 2-3 days to go down the Eastern Seaboard.

Generally interested in interesting Geological, Historical and Cultural things. That don't take up much time to see. Like 15 mins to a couple hours at max to go see. Really good food is also a plus.

We are from Hawai'i, for the most part, so what is mundane to you may be kind of different to us.

Currently heading roughly south from Maine. Near Route One.

If you head into the Maryland area, just check out some of the natural stuff. Some of my fondest memories in my life are of the forest and hills in that place.

And I guess all that military tourist crap to, if you're into that kind of thing.

Fixed because it's the most boring state on the East Coast with absolutely nothing do there, except go broke paying to get into Six Flags.
