But how exactly do you see things progressing SPECIFICALLY for your character?

I.e. if you went the NCR route, do you think they went on to continue fighting the Legion or settled down? Do you think a female courier ended up with Boone or what? Do you think the White Glove Society eventually got a clue?

I think the anarchic [censored]-hole I built rapidly collapsed due to famine and disease. The NCR took my killing of General Oliver as an act of war, and seeing the weakness of an independant Vegas, they promptly invaded. I'd originally been working with Caesar, so I'd blown up the Securitron army. With no army to defend Vegas, the NCR annexed it and I was executed for war crimes.

lets just say Caesar's legion won't be bothering me again :flamethrower:

My Courier established the Mojave Enclave.

It's not genocidal like the Old One but its otherwise a brutal authoritarian military state.

NCR is frothing at the bit since a lot of its soldiers probably stayed to serve under me given I pretty much am the only reason they won any battles.

The Followers of the Apocalypse are also welcome.

NCR's embassy is dead. House is dead. The securitrons are dead. All NCR on the strip are dead. The strip by all means is waiting for Caesar to walk on in. BoS is dead and long gone. First Recon's Barett's hang on my wall, including Boone's. Camp Forlone Hope is dead. Nellis rusts as the tribal bodies rot. The Van Graffs are in a hole somewhere next to the Crimson Caravan. Father Elijah's robes are my trophie. Arcade sits in chains at the feet of Caesar. Kmiball is dead. Now I await orders to hunt the burned man down to prove that I am the greatest.

having followed the YesMan route, the monetary resources from the casinos are used to extend the New Vegas walls around Westside and Freeside, bringing them into the city of Vegas proper. With a securitron army on the walls, and Brotherhood patrols in the surrounding roads, no other tribe would ever try to take over the resources of Independent Vegas. With the knowledge of the Followers, Vegas became an oasis of civilisation, with a hospital and with new schools opening up, and the co-operative farms spreading due to the fresh water being channelled where needed.. Vegas is a major trading destination, due to both the income from the casinos, but also with strong trading links with New Canaan and the Crimson Caravan (who realised that it would be in their monetary best interest to carry on trading with Vegas). Independent Vegas thrived, taking in not only ex-Legion slaves, but also refugees from the NCR following the civil war that almost certainly followed their ass-kicking

Eventually, a man called The King (g-g-grandson of the original King) would become President of the Republic Of New Vegas. New Vegas itself avoided the firestorm that came as a result of the huge clash between the NCR and Eastern Brotherhood.. war never changes

My female Courier did one of two things: Either she led an independent New Vegas to be a successful state amalgamating the authoritarian effectiveness of the Legion with the rule of law and egalitarianism of the NCR with neither the brutality or corruption of either, respectively currying favor with both the Legion and NCR to play the buffer-state to either, but being sure to keep her laser sighted, expanded magazined, silenced 10mm pistol handy. Just in case.

She sided with Caesar's Legion and allowed them to push west across the Colorado to secure the Mojave as the new frontier, but set the example of a strong, independent woman utilizing the technology of yesterday's world, with a scoped laser rifle on her back, to force Caeser and his Legion into realizing they were wrong about a great many things. Especially after a silver coin with her face on it is spread east, she is able to work with Caesar to reform the Legion into something closer to a true, post-apocalyptic force for the betterment of humanity

I guess it just depends on which weapon skill I tagged I have trouble siding with the NCR as it feels as if they're recreating too many of the Old-World mistakes

Things would end with me sitting atop a mountain of loot, whille all the pathetic people of the wastes bow to me and make offerings of their daughters and treasures.

I hope that she'll do right by the NCR and push the Legion waay back out of the Mojave. I hope that she'll become an elite Legion hunter, and go into partial retirement the rest of the time. In her time off, she'll live up at Jacobstown (After clensing it of all ghouls, nightkin and supermutants). Meanwhile, she'll hand responsibility back over to the NCR being quite happy killing Legion soldiers and Deathclaws, and having most excellent house parties at her mansion in Jacobstown.
Boone will become a colleague, but he'll probably have a 'thing' with beatrix from the Atomic Wrangler. Arcade Gannon will also be a regular guest, allthough after coming out and declairing his love for Mr House, things were a little stormy for a while. However, he and the Courier have remained good friends and often go clubbing together at the strips hottest new nightclubs.
The courier herself, defied all rumours and petty gossip about herself and boone, and revealed the passionate, steamy and often sordid affair she'd been having with Major Knight.
This continues still, despite much judgment and snide comments from traders and NCR troopers alike.

Essentially, life went on in the Mojave much as it allways had, only with no psychopathic skirt clad rapists and slavers on the loose. Also due to the couriers deeds at the powerstations, more energy throughout the Mojave meant that civilization has truly, started to heal. Goodsprings opens its first Gym next week.

Pfft, dont be fooled by petty gossip and spitefull rumours spread by jealous male couriers who's advances have been shot down by Major knight in the past!
If he were gay, he would *so* have shot me in the face and kidnapped Boone by now.

Allthough now you mention it, Manny did seem a bit.. you know.. I'm wondering if there was more to the 'issues' he had with Boones wife than we were told. Perhaps he was violently jealous of her. Perhaps he even assisted in her 'dissapearance', maybe even turned a blind eye when some men in skirts dragged someone away in the middle of the night?

My original melee-explosives build, Danger Man! was a vicious little [censored]. She destroyed every faction and everybody, and ate them. She learned everything from being the Bride of the Lone Wanderer. Her sole purpose of being in the Mojave and leaving her husband, was to find a name of her own. She joined up with Caesar's Legion, and helped out Legate Lanius rather than Caesar. With an angry faction ruled by an angry ruler in an empty Mojave, there was nothing left for her there. The Mojave was outright destroyed, and the Legion, now on the path of self destruction due to the malice of the Courier, heads West to attack the NCR, but will probably fail due to sabotage and lack of leadership.

So, I didn't really "build" a Mojave, but rather destroyed it. It felt gooooooood!

I would set mine up in a peaceful way. I would let the factions retain their territory but restrict all fighting between themselves. Granted, there would still be Super Mutants and Raiders, but let's say that they will be less "inclined" to attack with my Securitron Army patrolling the Mojave. :wink_smile:

My guy sat back, lit up a cigar, and pushed the mojave factions towards war, ever so slowly. For the perfect world he saw, was one where the strongest survived... and worked for him.

My character, Aiden, sided with Caesar's Legion but kept Yes Man around in the case Caesar betrayed him. The day never came. Legate Lanius was killed in battle by an NCR Ranger from over a thousand miles away. Aiden became the new Legate and under his leadership, casualties that usually numbered in the hundreds went down to ten or twenty in a battle.

Aiden married Sunny Smiles in front of the Lucky 38 with Caesar's blessing. Later on, the NCR attacked, resulting in Aiden annexing west California.

After the defeat of the legion, my Courier spends his time trying to convince the Brotherhood and the Followers of the Apocalypse to join forces as one organization, feeling that they are perfect complements to each other. His life dedicated to convincing them they are two halves of a whole that could bring a new world of prosperity to the wastes, with the Brotherhood acting as the protective military branch, and the Followers acting in a civilian capacity.

Whether he succeeds, I leave that to the mists of time.

Well, I see in the future for my Courier, which is male, to settle down with Cassidy and have a family, but also be in the NCR Rangers, as a Vetran Ranger. Bad Ass!!! And the end of my Courier would be at the 3rd fight for the Hover Dam, where i would boldly give my life to take out the legion. I would be the last one on the Dam with an Anti-Matrial Rifle, and a Detinator. And i would pick the Legion off one at a time and when they would hit me, if they do, i would Blow the Dam. And i would be concidered a Hero of the NCR.
