What to do?!

Well, While 11/11/11 is a cool date and all, It's also Remembrance Day for Canada so most places are closed, Including the game store where I pre-ordered Skyrim. Best part, They're NOT having a midnight release. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed about that. I was wondering tho, If I walk in right before closing on the 10th (Around 6PM) can I just say 'You guys are closed tomorrow, I payed for this, Can I just have it considering the 11th is 6 hours away anyways?'. Legally I know they're not allowed to do that but COME ON, Who releases a game on a day that game stores aren't even open?!

Is it not Veterans Day for America too? Either way, Most places are probably closed then.

it is...but it's really only a holiday for government jobs and banks these days.

i guess we are supposed to remember our veterans on one of the other similar holidays.

Most places don't close for Veterans day, pretty much only gov't facilities will be closed.

Sad to say, most places don't close for many holidays in America anymore.

Yeah America worships the coin, heard my first Chirstmas song on the radio at work more than a week ago, why close when there's money to be made.

11:11:11 is Remembrance Day in Australia too. However it is not a holiday.

Folks go to work and school and the shops are open as usual.

It's likely I'll not be able to collect my pre-ordered Skyrim before 9am Friday.
