What is the Diamond Paragon used for? *Possible Spoiler* : V

I picked it up after defeating the frost Giant and it just doesn't seem like all its used for is it's price.

It's for the portal. There are five giants and five paragons, each leading to different treasure.

Which portal? Also, are the Giants located all in the same region? I only found one Giant..

You need Amethyst, Diamond, Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby Paragons to open the portal that leads to a treasure.

And after you get the treasure, you can reclaim the Paragons.

It's a win win.

fast travel to the vale, follow the hill with the snow spiders, keep hugging the mountain wall to the right until you reach an impassible waterfall. you see will see and archway. that is the portal

also the giants are spread throughout the whole area in hidden areas.

There are five Frost Giants in five very out of the way places. Search thoroughly and you should find them easily enough. Each Giant carries one Paragon.

I posted this in another thread, but here you go.

It's on one of the Frost Giants strewn through the Forgotten Vale. And the last Giant is in a series of secret passages inside of Auriel's Temple.

You use the Initiate's Ewer to open the secret doors in the Temple. The first pedestal is in the Main room to the Temple, on the Left-hand wall.

The Giant is at the end of the passages.

The Initiate's Ewer opens each successive door. Grab it from each pedestal after the door opens and move through quickly.
