Let me be more clear.

I want to change the global disposition of the Vault 3 inhabitants, specifically Motor-Runner and probably his dog, to a friend disposition when I wear the Great Kahn jacket. Apparently this is not working right. The Vault dwellers think I'm NCR.

The faction itself is "FiendsFactionNV" which has all the base values, probably the easiest thing would be to modify the khanfactionoutfitwarning script so it gives a positive fiend rep while you're wearing it.

Thanks Mashiki.

I was just giving the problem some more thought. Maybe it's the "Motor-Runner Bounty" note in the inventory that's doing it. It may be overriding the Kahn jacket. It's currently in inventory.

Does anyone have the inventory item number for the Motor-Runner Bounty note?

Ahhhh. Found the Object ID: VMS07BountyNote

Now let's see if I can get it to work.

Actually you also have to be careful of the companions you have with you when you do this quest. Last time I checked it seems if your human companion isn't wearing great khan gear as well it causes problems. Also your companions should be put to passive as well.

Thanks for the reply DrDankness.

I left the companions outside of Vault 3. I did not change them to passive though.

I think it's the Note. But once I'm given the Bounty Note perhaps it sets a hostile disposition flag with the Vault dwellers that can't be reversed easily.

I just came upon the console command "addnote" and "removenote" so I'll see soon if I can figure out the syntax for the command.
