I'm role playing my character to be a Thalmor agent, but it doesn't feel right that other Thalmor members are very unfriendly/hostile towards me: they drawn their weapons and tell me to keep distance every time I see them on the roads etc. So I have decided to use console to get rank among them but can't find the knowledge of their factionid. If someone can tell it to me I would be grateful.

Player probably is in some enemy factions by default, but I'm not 100% certain; if you want to be sure, you can use removefromfaction on those.

As for the ThalmorFaction, yes, I think you're right.

Every time I see a Thalmor group on the road or where-ever, I have sworn to kill them. I actually loaded a save near the Thalmor embassy and right when I spawned, 3 Thalmor were standing in front of me telling me to go away in a very rude tone. Mjoll and I swiftly killed all of them. Bastards.

Ok, I'll remove my character from both of those enemy factions for sure and add him to ThalmorFaction - I hope it does the trick.

That's the way I liked to do it with my first character: slaughter every Thalmor and Imperial you can face on your travels and worship Talos. But with my second character I want to do it opposite way, play as Thalmor agent and do secret missions like destroy the Talos cult by killing everyone who is connected to it.

I actually swore my allegiance to the Imperium, but I find that the Thalmor are not welcome. Not because they're elves, but because of their actions. I not only kill Stormcloaks, and attempted to kill off the Jarl of Dawnstar (which is impossible, by the way), but I hunt down Thalmor. My next quest is to destroy the Dark Brotherhood.

That's because your confusing an idea with a feature.

I just joined in that order. It serves my purposes because when I'm their member they will be blamed of the murders I'll do to get rid of the Talos worshipers and other anti-Thalmor people. It's important to hide the connection between Thalmor and several murders. Dark Brotherhood is only one of the orders I'm utilizing to serve the interests of Aldmeri Dominion.

I do this as well, also alikir The only people I wont kill are kajiit, they are so sad, and I feel sorry for them in skyrim. Everyone else dies, especially people who piss me off or pay me very little for stuff I do for them
