well....It's a bear on fire. Seems rather annoyed because of the fire part.

Well, you can ask about it one one of those threads or look it up in the Vault.

It's something you kill while skyhigh on some tribal juice.

So who knows? :teehee:

Take drugs! Kill a bear!

Is there any other reason to justify the Ghost of She being in there?

Well, she's a legendary bear.

It's a common trope in tribal settings, there's a big bad wolf (or bear, or other beastie) that scores of the tribes best warriors have tried to slay but have themselves fallen in the attempt. The more who fail, the bigger the legend gets, so when you come along and handily slay the monster you get props and mad respect from the tribe.

Why is she on fire though? Dunno. Maybe it's the tea. That's some good tea, man.

it is a bear that you fight while on some kind of drug, so it may or may not be real.

no, the tribal shaman takes it from you, and give you something else, "she's embrace", but that very well could just be a weapon he made to honor your vision or something.

I think you're overanolyzing this too much. Even though you're in a trace, you can still move and fast-travel and kill animals, so it's unlikely that you wouldn't be able to kill the Ghost of She.

Also, to the original poster at the top of the thread, it's in the quest Rite of Passage. You can find a walkthrough here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfTv47Ra154

You can also get it off of the wikia: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Rite_of_Passage

Background
A little Sorrows child wandered into a yao guai's cave, before her naming ceremony, and was eaten by the beast. The Sorrows believe that the little girl and the yao guai are the same, hence the name "Ghost of She".

Characteristics
This yao guai is an oversized variant with a flaming body. It has a phenomenal attack power which can kill a power–armored person in just a few blows, and after taking enough damage can create several doppelgangers of itself. Her strange physical characteristics are a result of the PC being under the influence of a datura derived drug.

"Tea is strong! Tea is bitter! You drink tea! You kill Ghost of She!", says White Bird in his cave named "White Bird's Cave" overlooking the Sorrows Camp. You first need to get 3 sacred Datura roots and give it to WB and then, "You drink tea! You kill Ghost of She!". GoS is a flaming Yao Guai that multiplies itself in your perspective. When you drink the tea, your vision is woozy and when you see GoS, you are blinded for 2 seconds.

Perfectly summed up lmao. I'm honestly surprised there wasn't a wild wasteland aspect of it. Can just imagine the little vaultboy in the corner: "@.@: ....." when GoS multiplies. Lmao
