As an assassin and illusionist, pretty much any enemy is easy. Cryomancers take a little more effort than other things.

The one exception to this: Dragons.
No matter what dragon I fight, it's really hard for me to get my damage in without having to flee and recover.

Though, since I'm a dark elf, firebreathing dragons are pretty easy as long as they're not ancient dragons.

arch whatever-mages are hard in swarms as you getting pelted with three or more high damage spells. At low levels i've fought dragon priests that i trap in a doorway to defeat

It really depends on your build. In general though, just looking at offensive capabilities, combined with overall health, you're mainly looking at [ancient] dragons, gaints, dwarven centurions, and forsworn briarhearts. And obviously any "boss" fights -- named dragons, dragon priests, leveled named enemies, etc.) And I agree that high level mages are difficult. You have to keep up your guard against their potent spells, and if you don't chip away their health quickly enough, they can just heal themselves.

Ancient dragons kick my ass unless either my follower (Illia) distracts it, or I can find cover. Arch Pyromancers are a [censored]. And Falmer Shadowmasters can be difficult, especially in groups.

(psst, giants are a piece of cake if you hit them with poison of slow.)
