So I exit my Lakeveiw Manor House and all I have been doing is going between Falkreath and Lakeveiw Manor getting iron and such. I exit the house and here this wheezing sound and it scared me so bad I that I froze (I have headphones rigged to my PS3) and then I get hit and about a third of my life gets taken I look behind me and theirs a MFing giant right outside my damned door! What the hell is this? I have been fast traveling to Falkreath and Lakeview Manor for yhe past few game days. What would cause a giant to ambush me at my damned door???

I've been attacked by a Giant only once while at Lakeview.

Strange thing is, there are no Giant Camps nearby.

Its apart of Hearthfire. You got to protect your home from threats. Tis a consequence of living out in the wilderness.

Maybe this why the Companions acttack giants which i always thought was a mean thing to do. Now am hearing more and more about giant acttacks from players. Most likely they feel threatened in some way sort of like a big old bear coming into ones yard looking for food in the garbage can and finding its personal space suddenly much smaller.

It was probably after the cow you have outside your home.

Seriously though, it will happen from time to time same with bandits and skeevers in your basemant.
