Hello. I remember going for a mage character back during the November release and focused I think mainly on destruction. It was great at first but near the end it was as if I was throwing cotton candy as a weapon. Has it changed much?

Also, what are the two most diverse schools to go into? Something where I can have some variety where I wont be repeating the same things nonstop as well as not feeling weak at higher levels.

I was thinking Conjuration/Illusion.
