Killing Deacon after being friendly enough with him to get his "recall code". Didn't read his code until after killing him. Got hit in the feels. :sadvaultboy:

Deliberately gunning down a BoS Knight to prevent them killing the Courser I was helping during an Institute mission. Bunker Hill, I think. My char is pro-BoS, but it was a one off.

I had no followers at the time and it was an unnamed Knight.

Funnily enough when the Knight died one of the synths picked up his shredding mini gun and that really helped the synths finish off the rest of the BoS and Railroad.

Is ignoring kidnap missions, or settlement defence missions, until they fail considered bad? Because that has happened a few times.

RP wise, slaughtering all the RR leadership needlessly was about the worst thing I have done. Other than that, not giving that kid in Vault 81 the cure. And I slaughtered all the BoS at the airport, lots of people think that is bad too.

That courser either can't be killed until the end of that mission or can only be killed by the player. He got knocked down a bunch of times for me but always got back up. Took forever for it to kill the BoS I couldn't help myself once inside the bunker I had to help with the railroad and I was pro railroad (although I was having a change of heart this quest sealed the deal.)

It was the bossy Courser. He took about 4 synths back with him at once.

Being on PC I check people's essential status. It said he wasn't essential, but his ref ID either had PP or EP and I don't know what that is yet. Maybe it's a type of Protected status.

Oh well. Next game I'll see how it goes, without helping.

Met some people arguing around a campfire. Two were going on about a synth, who was kneeling, pleading for his life. When asked what I would do, I replied "Not my problem" and walked away.

Then I heard the gunshot.

Another time, I was walking behind a settler who leading brahmin. At first, I thought it was a trader, but the name said "Settler". As we came upon a building, mutants jumped out and started firing. The settler ducked for cover, but then I heard the unmistakable "beep beep beep" of a suicider. I aimed with my weapon and inadvertently hit the nuke, lighting up the night sky with a beautiful fire and parts of the settler I tried to save.

I checked my crime stats one day, and notice 15 murders....... I have no idea how I managed that.... Unless sniping folks from a distance before they go aggro is considered murder? (if that's the case, it should be a hell of a lot more than 15.......)

A number of non hostiles are easily killed by sneaking and sniping. That's why I use a recon scope now. If a red diamond doesn't appear above their head I go over and talk to them. I've found a few obscure missions doing this.

Edit: If they are hostiles ( Gunners, Bandits, opposite faction, etc.) and haven't aggro'd then they don't add to the murder count. It's only if they are non-hostile NPCs like Traders, wandering Settlers, named NPCs, etc. that do.

Convince the teacher to marry the robot, then hack the robot, so she would try to kill him and watch as the teacher kill his own wife.

I was at the Third Rail in Goodneighbor when I had to use the restroom. I used the last of the toilet paper and didn't put a new role on.

I am a bad, bad person.

Forget which one it was but I came across a settlement that had 2 sons a mother and a father. The youngest stole the family sword and ran off and joined a raider group. The father asked if I could get it back. I find the son in a factory with his new companions. After killing all of them I go to return the sword as I'm more of a gun guy. When I get back to the settlement the family is sleeping. I take the opportunity to relieve them of a few items as additional payment for my services. The good son wakes up and sees this so he starts yelling that thats his stuff and making a big commotion. The parents wake up and I kid you not the father is saying for everyone to calm down and is trying to diffuse the situation. The son doesnt want to hear it though and starts making his way towards me. My companion at the time, Cait, doesnt like the sudden movement so she draws her double barrel and blows the poor kid away. The parents get all "you killed my son" and try attacking my with a bat and bare hands. I was forced to put them down. yea not too proud of that...

I hit Cait.

It was one of those times when an npc gets in the way and won't move. Finally I got so frustrated I hit her, and she moved.

I felt like a low life abuser, this was after achieving the romance perk, and here I'm hittingy wife.

Was worried that she would attack me as she didn't speak to me for awhile. Then she did and everything was normal.

Still, I do regret it.

Um I'm split between killing Dance without even talking to him and taking the cure for mole rat disease for myself and leaving the child to his terrible fate. By the way yes, I'm cold as ice.

We're in spoilers right?

I'd have to say killing Danse after his surprise reveal. I had not romanced him, but had befriended him. When confronted he asked me to kill him. I really didn't want to ... but he asked me and in our minds he had good reason to. He even justified it himself. I killed him but was doing it because I was his friend, not because I hated him. Can't say I didn't feel bad afterwards though. Still wonder what would have happened if I had let him live. Would he have ever forgiven me for not killing him.

EDIT: One other one. Not taking little Shaun back with me. Playing BoS I just left him to die even after talking to Paladin 'what's her name with no legs'. Playing RR I wouldn't even talk to him and after refusing to talk about it TT said he would get the boy back anyway. Thanks for nothing Tom. Anyway as a BoS the kid was just another Synth and only a reminder of what I had loss. As a RR I felt the kids sole purpose in being made was to torment me and I wouldn't have any part of it. So, no kid.

That is the Finch Farm. They never really let that kid off the hook they seem to talk about it every time I stop by there. I ended using the kid to connect my supply line just to get it to stop.

I just figure the kid was in a coma for most of the 200 years, and being steadily irradiated enough inside the fridge to keep his Ghoul ass alive.

Flat-out executed Pickman as he stood there after thanking me. I re-loaded three times trying for conversation options that would make him aggro on me, but he always just gave me the key. I didn't want to let that creepy [censored] live, so gauss rifle to the head it was. I was with Hancock at the time and he didn't even care one way or the other.
