Seriously, what the [censored] guys. You all hate the [censored] out of this game. I don't see how, I'm level 9 and about 6-7 hours into gameplay. I'm also playing on Xbox. I don't see what all of you see wrong with it. I have not once seen the texture glitch. Installed or off disc it looks amazing. The gameplay is wonderful! I haven't found one single thing wrong with this game. All of you are ignorant pricks. Thank you Bethesda for making a wonderful game! Money well spent! I love you guys.

Didn't say that, just said you guys must be doing something wrong. I've played for a continuous 7 hrs and see no texture glitch. Installed or not.

thats cuz skyrim was made pretty much specifically for xbox

when u creat a game for a system with a 720p resolution, bad gpu and cpu (xbox) and then try to make it work on powerhouse systems with 1080p native resolutions (pc and PS3), there will be lots of graphical problems

gameplay is an opinion. what u see as fun, i see as severely dumbed down. some of us actually enjoyed the stats system in oblivion. this game, although amazing and still one of my favorite games, will never hold a candle to oblivion. i had a clear understanding of the stats system in oblivion. i enjoyed how complex it was. its supposed to be complex. this is all the skills ur character knows.

i think a lot of the problems with skyrim will come from how they approached things. they seem to have put consoles first and pc gamers second. its obvious that the menu and ui was designed for a controller. theres no way they would design this type of menu system with a mouse/keyboard in mind. oblivion and all other elder scrolls games were very clearly made for the pc. they were made to be used with a mouse. this game is clearly not.


skyrim will be one of those games that, as almost all multiplatform games do, will polarize the consoles gamers and the pc gamers to the point of war...

I had the same glitchy, buggy and crashing experience with Oblivion...and yes, it was my system. I've buyed a new one, now the pain is gone^^

On-topic, I think its safe to assume that the are some who are and arent having problems with skyrim. If you arent Please continue, my good sir. and play. If you are then go seek help from the Tech forum.

Not a "glitch" per -se but I have noticed that many of the textures on console look kind of terrible. I have both the console and PC version and I must say with the latter, on high settings, that the textures are of much higher resolution. It doesn't make the game unplayable in any sense of the word but it is noticeable. Even with the improved PC textures I didn't purchase the game for its graphical prowess so this minor issue on consoles is not problematic for me. Not to say that this game is perfect as the simple fact that you can reach level 9 in only 7-8 hours is much more of an issue. Hence the reason I purchases both. 1 main, most likely 60-70 hour playthrough on console then subsequent playthroughs on the PC version once the modding community has been established. As one mod put it, I'm doing my "research" on the console version and will implement/ install the fixes once I have access to the mods and various modding tools.

its elitists like you that make me shun PC gaming as a whole i would say it should be done away with because it encourages elitism but then i would be no better then you are. the classic pc gamer portrayal of all console gamers as 12 year old hormonally imbalanced halfwit Hyperactives in need of medication or Jocks who would rather be Playing Basket ball but since nobody is over they might as well pick up the ol x box for a few chuckles is nothing short of insulting. fact of the matter is i would love to have a beast of a computer that is so powerful i may have to worry about it killing me in my sleep and taking over the world but i just dont have the money as im sure is the case with most console gamers we either lack the funds to get a good computer or use consoles out of preference for there simplicity and ease of use. that does not make us stupid.

It's not a question of console or PC, but a matter of a job well done or not .......

If you compare the work on The Witcher 2 and Skyrim you'll quickly realize that Bethasada had no respect for PC gamers by selling a non-optimized version.

So it is probably not pleased to hear that some but on pc it clear the feeling of having been ripped off.

We were not asking the moon, we asked a game optimized for our support at least technically.
