What I think would improve Skyrim and TES series

Dear Bethesda and fellow gamers,

First off having been a gamer for more than 20 years there are two titles that I rank above all others, Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Skyrim is an amazing game but lacks a few critical things that these games have and even if id rank Skyrim as the third best game sofar in history its a shame that it did not blow F3 out of the water considering that is what F3 did to oblivion (which i also LOVED).

The greatest flaws of TES series is, to me, the game balance. F3 had much better balance (oh i only wish that stimpaks hadnt been instant, but rather healed over 10 secs), due to 2 major reasons. The first was the lower levels thus making the world more balanced. The diffrence between the dragons in skyrim is simply to big because there are to many levels. The second was the fact that there was no crafting skills that could work in synergy. Now im not talking about the using of potions and whatnot to craft better and better gear in skyrim but rather if u use both enchanting and smithing normally in the end you will be so OP that its not fun to play. Mind you this comes from someone who played skyrim DID on VERY EASY the first time around and found it a good balance.

So now when I know how to craft stuff (didnt on my first run at all) it doesnt even matter if I play on master my character is way to overpowered anyways. The problem is that I will use smithing and enchanting because its done in an awesome and fun way (the levelling of them, kudos for that). But there is no balance to the skills, the power is simply to great. So why is this a problem? Its not FUN. So dont use them? Why play at all then? If I cannot use the skills that i love and think is fun because it breaks the game then im sorry to say, you messed up bethesda.

Which leads my to my main complaint about the TES series. The lack of xp, instead of getting xp for doing quests and killing stuff you get xp for using skills. So when I fight 4 bandits its better for me to let them rain blows on me for 5 min and then finish them off, gaining 2 levels, then just ruthlessly and logically killing them right of the bat (for which i do not gain even 1/100 level.

I can allready hear the cries of those thinking that levelling skills like this is holy. And to them i ask them have you never ever powerlevelled a skill by casting the same spell over and over, on purpose taken more damage than necessary to level etc? You have and that isnt a fun way to play, maybe you only, like do it sometimes, but its a broken mechanic. The levelling should not work like this.

Maybe next game they could atleast add xp to the levelling of skills ie. you gain xp from killing and quests and to chose the perks you also need a skill req, that is gotten by using said skill (or training it). It would work so much better. And remove the ridicolus stuff.

Finally id give Skyrim 95 out of 100 as is with these flaws. I hope that the next game in TES series will be a 100/100!!
