One of the radio stories that's been popping up on my kill-'em-all character's game, (paraphrased): "Serial killer strikes Vegas! Several elderly residents of New Vegas have been found murdered recently, the latest victim being a retired doctor. Residents are advised to exercise caution whilst this so-called 'Pensioner Killer' is at large".

I'm presuming this is related to a particular quest rather than just being a reaction to random slaughter, but I can't work out which one. Anyone got any ideas?

New one on me. Did you kill Doc Mitchell? Maybe the story is about you.

I thought it was for the Remnants, if you fail the For Auld Lang Syne quest.

The Remnants is a good bet, actually, what with Dr Whatshisname at Jacobstown and all, didn't think of that. I wonder if at one point there was going to be an alternative 'murder-the-remnant' approach to that quest or something. Or maybe it's just a cool little reward for any anti-Enclave fanatics out there.
