I put my copy of Skyrim to PS3. When I started to instal it, it sayd:

"The latest update data for this software has been foun.
To sign in and use this softwere, you must update the softwere to the latest version.
The systems will quit the softwere and start installing.
Version 2.00" ?

But this forum only gives information about updates Update 1.1 and Update 1.2 patch?!


I pressed [OK]

What this update 2.00 does?

Its getting worded different all over the place.. basically that is the first day patch and there is another on the way

In Europe it's called 2.00 for some reason.

Recently several members of the Bethesda team including todd howard answered some Fan asked questions:

You can get married in Skyrim.
Cuirass and Greaves is now 1 set
There will be: Guilds, Factions, Houses
There will be Horses ( IDK about Armor)
Characters can have tattoos, face paint, facial hair and scars
Loot is both random and leveled
You can make friends, they will go on adventures with you via dungeons and caves.
Most armor is now 'nordic style'
there are more armor sets than in oblivion
depending on how good or evil your character is, what quests will be available.
Armor is different on male/female
Most towns in skyrim will be nordic unlike in oblivion's mixed culture.
Dragons can destroy entire towns(Buildings) (possible but unlikely).
People know if your a good person or an evil one not just by quests but by reputation
You can improve weapons and armor as well as create new ones from raw material.

Mark, that text you quoted is almost 6 months old. It's not an update to the game... just a question and answer session with the fans about the upcoming release of Skyrim

Funny, when I'm ingame it says that the version is 1.120.0 but when i go to game data it says 2.00, maybe its the fileversion of the patch or something.

2.0 IS 1.1 as Squoosh said it was named differently in Europe (and NZ maybe OZ I have no idea) no idea why it's named differently maybe it was a typo? lol
