Yeah, I really love energy weapons. (Jingwei's Shock Sword and Electro Suppressor are energy weapons even though they are in the melee skill)

My favourite was Lincoln's Repeater. The most awesome Small Gun ever.

I have two... burnmaster and vengence.. both are so sweet.. that guys 44 is nice too .. you know the one when you nuke something or other

Ol' Painless.

I know it isn't the best gun etc but I think it is amazing. Every kill with it is satisfying and that sound is awesome!

I think the Lincolns Repeater was the best weapon for semi-long to long-distance firefights...but i was just as content with the regular old assault rifle

the gauss rifle is also pretty powerful and quick for killing lots of baddies

Alien Disentegrator. Can clear any room and still have 80 shots left before I need to reload.

It all depends on the character I’m playing. Sledgehammers, switchblades, spiked knuck’s, power fist, ‘nades, lever action rifles, “Shee-ikes”-a-bobs, automatic rifles, A3-21 & Metal Blaster’s, mines, snipers, gatlin’ lasers, launchers, blades, The Gauss, etc., etc., etc….

But, each and every time I play any character; the dart-gun gets heavy-duty use.

Sneak/assassin, Sniper/soldier, Tank/demolition expert, unarmed/melee, energy/pansy, hell it don’t matter; The Poisoned Dart is the King!

Xuanlong assault rifle- powerful, fully automatic, and 36 rounds per reload makes it great for tough enemies at close-medium range but loses effective at longer ranges due to spread and has somewhat rarer replacement parts.

A3-21 plasma rifle- powerful, semi-automatic, great at close range or in VATS but difficult to use at range due to slow moving plasma shot and fairly easy to find parts at higher levels enclave outposts or during main quest.

Laser Rifle and maybe the special version i've never used- better then hunting rifles due to the increased clip size, faster rate of fire, and has none or next to no spread, also better then plasma at range due to quick moving laser shot, most enclave carry them.

Hunting rifle never used the special version due to it being outta the way- great weapon until laser rifles become common, nice amount of power and fairly accurate with a high small arms skill, ammo and parts are fairly common when fighting raiders and low level super mutants.

Spiked knucules- light, strong even when unarmed is low, and can be repaired with either other spike or normal brass knucules which are fairly cheap at vendors even with a low barter, great when an enemy is weak and ammo is low or empty.

Lever action rifle never got to backwater version- powerful, uses common 10mm ammo, and a decent rate of fire, never seen in the capitol requiring visiting point lookout to find spare parts or the use of npc repair.

The Experimental M.I.R.V. just because I like shooting it into the air and dodging the nukes as they come down. :hubbahubba:
