What Weapons do You Want?

Post » Thu Sep 27, 2012 7:18 am

Personally, I would like to see some more silver weapons. I miss the good old silver bow from Oblivion.

What should be included in the game? Maybe it could connect to a new DLC as well.

Why Silver Bows aren't in the game is beyond me. :banghead:

I like throwing knives and I'd love to shove a spear down the throat of a Thalmor agent.

I'd actually like to smith weapons and armor with new designs.

Throwing Axe.

I know people would want those to be a throwing hatchet but throwing axes are thrown with 2 hands.

Whatever gets the job done. Whether grisly or efficient so long as I can take out my opponent I'm happy.

Well at least you know you hit the guy when you hear a unnatural thud and then the guy screams...Brutal or no at least the guy is dead before you are.

Silver Bows I don't get, it's Silver Arrows that are more important since that's where the damage comes from...Not that...We have the rules of certain weapons harming certain creatures anymore...Haven't seen that since Morrowind...

Haha! Yes, it's always satisfying when you hear an unnatural thud.

Another thought: how about short-swords?
Whips
Tomahawks
Brass Knuckles
Boomerangs
Double-edged weapons
Dai-Katanas
Scythes
Double edged swords could allow for some interesting gameplay.

An Ebony Katana would be nice. I am using JaySus Swords and am surprised there isn't one in there. I think that would be cool to see in the game.

Ignoring the fact that several weapons in game clearly have a dual edge...

I meant double edged light-saber type gameplay. Come on, you know what I meant.

Whips - like a bound weapon with fire or lightning that you can wield (although the game engine cannot really handle the dynamic of a whip in motion).
Short Swords - especially Wakizashis.
Spears/Halberds.

Halberd/naginata/some form of pole weapon that is more than a pointy stick.
Rapier, perfect for that rogue or bard.
Silver mace, and crossbow bolts. No wonder the Dawnguard need help if they haven't thought of silver tipped bolts.
Good old Oblivion Elven shortsword.
Big spikey knuckledusters.
