I am ignorant as to the previous games in the Skyrim Bethesda series, so I do not know the prior stories leading up to Skyrim V - but I am curious as to what the actual influences are on the concepts and making of the game, the rp experience, and the inworld designs.
For instance - just watching and rewatching all the conan films and alot of aspects seem to be recreated in Skyrim e.g. strewn skeletons of Mammoths, towns and ruins, etc
I suppose these are just staples of all swords and sorcery fictions, but with the whole Nordic thing in skyrim the Conan influence seems cemented with me - so were there other filmic references and influences? e.g. did old films like The Vikings (starring Kirk Douglas) influence the game? afterall the nords are basically sort pfo scottish barbarians/vikings, and the imperials are kind of romans right?????????
