Quick, we need a dev artist in here!

I'm going to approach this game completely different from previous RPG games, not including FO3. I'm taking the same approach as I did with that game. I'm just going to wing it. I'm going to sit down, and completely immerse myself in the game, and just do whatever I feel is right at the time. No guides, no books, no looking online; nothing. Just experiencing the game, raw. For that reason, I have been completely avoiding any sort of preview.

Really looking forward to the hardcoe mode. That completely equates to total immersion for me. NOM for Morrowind is amazing, and I love FWE for FO3.

I will be exploring the area placing alot of landmarks on my map leveling in the process, not doing any main quests until i am satisfied with my characters capabilities.

So i guess exploring will be my main activity. :spotted owl:

Ever little thing that can possibly be done, I will do. And then I will do it again and again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again... =]

Hard part will be how much time to play versus how much time in the GECK - the draw of both will be amazing.

Still I think the game is going to be so good that I'll be drawn in pretty heavily, and spend most of my time just experiencing the story that Obsidian put together. I suspect my modding will start heavy (more mod than playing) after my first play-though, after that I'll likely spend most of the time in the desert exploring.

I'm probably going to spend a lot of time wandering around proper civilisation, taking in the sights.

I'll probably die a horrible and gruesome death over and over again, well at least until I get used to hardcoe mode

Fisto.

Good answer. I will probably explore most. And it's just fun to go from settlement to settlement, finding and trading things as I go. Also, if we can do repeatable caravan jobs, I'l probably do that a lot too.

I think what I'll do most is travel. For whatever reason: quests, exploration, fighting, whatever.

Step 1- Explore
Step 2- Kill it (possibly with fire)
*Step 3- See below
Step 4- Loot it
Step 5- Return to Step 1

*Step 3- Quest when I remember it or accidentally advance something

Collecting of course, I'm a sap for anything even remotely collectible.

Trying out mods. Mods rule. Also they rock. And roll. All night long, sweet Suzy! Hehehe.

This. Same thing I do in FO3 & Oblivion.

Edit: oh, yeah.... and loot everything not nailed down. Packrats ftw. :celebration:

As for the one unkillable person.... honestly, I couldn't care less. I've actually never gone out of my way to kill lots of named NPCs in previous gamesas games. My FO3 exploits are typically restricted to small areas (like the Family, once or twice. And Paradise Falls, every game. Or the Republic of Dave, once.) But Megaton, Rivit City, the BoS, etc? Never tried killing them. No reason to. And, yeah - that means I've never actually had a neutral or evil playthrough. I just can't seem to manage it. :D
