What will you do until Far Harbour?

Post » Thu Mar 31, 2016 3:52 am

You saying this, wonder if you could legitly end up spending tons of time making like an Arena warrior build guy, captures wasteland animals and then fights them to the death in his arena for caps? Especially on survival mode this would be pretty intense (I hope they have a betting system lol) Have Preston put it all on you, just don't let the Deathclaw eat you.

Waiting for Doom.

And while I'm waiting for that, I'll be waiting for Stellaris...

And while I'm waiting for that, I'll be waiting for Wasteland Workshop... :cryvaultboy:

DS3 looks a little to 'actiony' to me. There are a couple games I have on STEAM in backlog that I could (should) be playing, but just cranking up FO4 and just doing whatever just seems so easy to do. I did take a much needed break this weekend and took the wife and daughter out to a movie. Need to do more stuff like that I guess.

I am just exploring some cheat codes on PC with my last char. Found one that let's you build a workshop anywhere. having fun building stuff in the upper stands of DC, on overpasses, etc. cannot fast travel to it, and must use god mode to have resources, but it is just to waste time until..

I'll be studying and flying the odd mission in Rise of Flight most likely.

But I'm also looking forward to the new Survival mode and Creation Kit / G.E.C.K. being released for Fallout 4. With luck they will both come out in April.

Got so much to do on FO4 still, so I'm hoping I'll finish up the game right around the time Far Harbour and Survival drops. Oh, and I'll be 'studying'.. ;)

Bethesda makes my favorite games, but they're not the only games I play.

The new Fire Emblem is my main game right now. I'm nearly done with Conquest, but I'm having a hard time feeling motivated to continue. It's incredibly fun, but each level takes a bare minimum of two hours to finish and leaves me with a headache afterwards. Been playing some Birthright chapters as a break.

And I still mess around in Fallout 4 now and then. I only have two settlements left to construct and Strong's perk is the only one I have left to obtain.

Switching between fallout 4 and other games I don't like as much. Really regretting buying the Division, especially digitally. I don't even know what I really want to play anymore. A lot of stuff I was hoping would be good, ended up being bad (rainbow six, the division). I've never played any of the Dark Souls stuff. Maybe I'll look at that

Continue doing radiant quests for BoS and the Institute. Maybe continue building settlements.

MGS V? The game that is one of the most repetitive and unfinished games out there?

I'm gonna play a tonne of Baldurs Gate. An oldie but still good.

If I get through all that and still no sign of Far Harbour....well Neverwinter Nights was pretty fun as well.

Yeah I've got Stella Glow and was ready to play Birthright next, but both got put on a hold when FO4 came out. I want to play them, I do, but it's so fun blowing things up on FO4...

Probably do a bit of online/casual/low-commitment gaming via Star Wars Battlefront, Titanfall, and NBA 2k16. I'm pretty caught up on my single player games, with the exception of DLC. If I catch a sale, I'll may pick up the Witcher 3 DLC or Rise of the Tomb Raider DLC, but I'm not paying full price for them. Never been big on the season pass model... Quantum Break is about to come out, so I may look into that too.

Doing what I always do, living out the life of my characters in all of Bethesda's games from Morrowind till now, including New Vegas.

Speaking of NV that's mostly what I played yesterday, with my character being a old west gunslinger who is a little bit obsessed with the whole idea of being a hero ontop of a major case of wanderlust. Doesn't have a home like the rest of my characters, he just wanders all across the western wastelands, using his revolver and machete to bring good to the world.

I can't wait to travel to Far Harbour with my Fallout 4 character. The whole colony of Synths thing sounds likes its in dire need of some minigun based purging, I just hope that when the GECK comes out the whole voiced protagonist thing still allows for people to make new lands and new quests since that's one of the main reasons I chose these games, nearly infinite content through modding.

I'm going to go on adventures with my robot, expand my settlements with Wasteland Workshop, and play some Borderlands 2 if I feel like switching it up.

I might get around to finishing the game in that time. I've played a LOT over 3 characters but haven't ever gotten around to finishing the story. I like exploring and setting my own goals in these open world games. I have heard / seen some spoilers of some stuff that's still ahead of me in the story that sounds like a lot of fun so I've still got stuff to look forward to.

I never played a single metal gear game until MGS V and I thought it was actually really good, my only beef is that I still havent finished it because I can't unlock one of the last missions or something and I don't even know why, I'm doing repeat missions but I have to complete them with total stealth and stuff. That bugs me a little. but I really love the multiplayer

I liked MGSV personally. I spent about 80 hours playing it before I was even aware of it. The hours just flew by. But I love stealth and killing unawares. That said I'll probably get back into this game now that there's some dlc and patches. I played two different characters for a total of 50 hours when it first released but finally got tired of the bugs involved with settlement building and decided to put it aside for a while. I'll also keep playing Rory McIlroy's PGA Golf. (I find it relaxing.)

I think I'll indulge some of my character's more nefarious pass times. These include but are not limited to:

-Making piles of slain foes on the hoods of old cars and blowing them up to see how far they go

-Ghosting some of my more annoying settlers for use as stealth practice

-Putting human skulls in some of the cooking pots found around the major cities

-Bucket list item: finding a car perfectly placed underneath a skyscraqer to test if falling on it in my power armor from the top floor will cause it to explode; film results
