What Will Be YOUR Class !?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 11:25 am

No, seriously, odd but I couldn't find a topic like this.
Any how, what will be your class, pure something? a mix or something maybe? if u can, add why too.
Personally Im not sure, going for a pure duel wield, swords man, a pure warrior or go for an assassin, bow, daggers or finally a mage/warrior.
Kinda hard when there are several hours left before the release, u have no "peep" to do and u just start doing nothing except thinking. I rly am not sure what path I wanna take, Since its Skyrim u wanna be like a warrior badass, from other point, stealth is fun.
So what is it ur going for and why?

I don't know for sure yet, but I'm planning to start with a few different characters, get all of them to a certain waypoint then decide which I enjoyed most.

Will probably make a pure-stealth class, DWing and bow; a 2hander warrior; and an all-out spellcaster.

Planning on having proficiency in all the stealth based skills, perhaps even mastery. Illusion, one handed, archery, and possibly alteration if I feel like it. I'm deciding on perk patterns, it's going to be a tight fit.

You don't have to choose. I'm going bow/sneak, destruction/alteration, restoration/one-handed all with the same character.

Excuse my nubness. What's Illusion and how does it relate to stealth?

Illusion is a school of magic. Some useful skills for me would be the silent casting perk, along with frenzy. Two targets standing together, all of a sudden one starts to kill his friend in a Frenzy, and I walk right on by the chaos. Mostly going to use it for distractions like that. Also, other spells include Silence, for keeping those pesky mage types off my tail in a hurry, invisibility and chamelon are good perks to have to enhance your sneaking around, and charm can enhance my social skills.

For my first play through I'll likely be a Wily Berserker. The majority of my perks will be going into Alchemy, One-Handed, Sneak, and Illusion with a minor focus on Light Armor, Archery, and Enchantment. My tactics will vary depending on the situation.

For lone targets I'll try to snipe them silently with a bow, If its a closed and confined space I'll pop an inviso spell up and to try to close in with dual daggers and take advantage of the 15x dagger sneak attack damage perk.

For large groups I'm probably going to toss subtly out the window. I'll likely open up with dual-casted Frenzy spells to get them fight each other. From there it's going to be whipping out poisoned dual axes, overdosing on buff potions and charging straight into combat. I'll probably be swapping my left axe to cast Fear or more Frenzy spells if the fight drags on to avoid getting ganged up on.

Ever since I saw the duel-wielding capabilities in Skyrim I immediately knew what my class would be: Spellsword.

Focus in:
Light Armor
One Hand
Various Magic Trees

Can't wait to have a staff in my left and a sword in my right. Straight Gandalf style!

No problem! Anything to help a fellow sneak :P Just remember to not go overboard on the magic, and don't waste ALL of your perk points on the magic schools unless you really want to! :)

Method of killing will be mostly by stealth, using dual blades or a bow when possible. I'll be learning alchemy (if it's in the game, cant remember :P), and other non-magical skills for survival. My character is going to stay away from magic as much as the game permits (which could mean my "main" will never finish the main quest line depending on how dragon shouts work, though tbh fighting dragons doesn't sound like all that much fun to him), he doesnt have a problem with magic, he'd just rather rely on his "natural" skills to get the job done. Will probably wear light armor maybe even regular clothing. That'll make it even more interesting when his stealth approach fails. Throw in some lockpicking and that's about it.

I'm planning on Redgaurd Archer,
though I'll probably have all kinds of characters before long, a mage and a sword n boarder.

nothing beats sneaking in the dark with a fully drawn bow.
I'm definitely going to get my hands on some of those frozen runes though... those sound most useful >: )
