I've got my first few characters planned out already. I'm playing Aldmeri, so:

1. Altmer healer (mage maybe?)
2. Bosmer ranged DPS (probably an "archer" class)
3. Khajiit tank
4. Some form of melee DPS (Bosmer if it's viable)

My character will be Nahbat, the common Suthay merchant from northern Elsweyr. In the past, she sold the hides she hunted in the deserts in the capital. Since, she has suffered from the Khajiiti addiction to sugar and her own lack of funding. Her skills as a merchant are not as good as her skills as a hunter and survivalist. To fund herself, she has to take jobs as a bounty hunter, bodyguard or something similar. Above all else, she wishes to wander the wilds, but her addiction to sugar and specifically moonsugar keeps her from fully enjoying her time there. She is most probably going to be rogue-ish or hunter by WoW standards, but preferably I'd make her an agent like in SWTOR with healing capabilities. If possible, I'll also try to join table-top games with this character.

I'll be using the character type I've used in all ES games (as well as an idea that has spread to several other games as well), a Breton mage who excels in Alchemy and Restoration. He's a wanderer with no true place to call home, cares little for the affairs of war, and cares abundantly for the affairs of individual people. He'll attempt to aid and sacrifice his services for people of all backgrounds and races. His lifestyle was born of severe guilt, and attempts to redeem himself for crimes of his past.

Every game until Skyrim it was a Dark Elf. I have a running character story in my head that works for me.

I am not one of those people that needs to be "handsome" or attractive in any way in game, but Skyrim broke the streak. I just couldn't even look at myself without thinking "I've seen this guy behind a 7-11 talking to bottle caps."

So, I look forward to the glorious return to Dark Elf.

Good Lord I'm a dork.
Heh,I want my character to look good too,Well maybe my character dont look attractive,but i love how he looks.. And with skyrim i could finnally create the character i wanted ^^ Also i love how the dunmers looks,also the nords,and all races. I wonder how they will look in thisgame

Also, at "What a glorious misinterpretation!" guy;

God forbid I see things differently, right?

That was actually a compliment; it's a term attributed to Dwemer thinking.

For myself: A Hlaalu Nightblade/ double triple quadrouple agent.
