Ok..what's with the Hagraven?

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 6:16 pm

OK...this mob shoots fireballs that take me out in 1.5 shots (Sometimes it's one shot, sometimes two) - Best I've been able to do is hide just out of sight and keep sending flame elementals after her...they whittle her down to about 1/4 health, but then she jumps back to 1/2 health...I can't even poke my nose out where she can see it without getting blasted in one or two shots, and the one time she came across the log bridge and I tried to meele, I STILL couldn't kill her. Is there some special trick to taking the hag down?

Coming back when you're a higher level might help. She has a heal spell and you're not able to handle the damage or deal enough of your own.

Or I suppose I could use her to pump my summons, stealth, and Alteration (Pop an oakskin whenever I have the mana...as long as she's still agroed, I get an XP hit)

Just charge her and use potions (that's what I always do lol) until you're high enough level to deal with them normally.

Are you using wards? If not, that'll help. Just have plenty of magicka pots.

As Tale said, yeah, these creatures are a serious threat to low levels, but aren't so tough after leveling up.

Are you trying to get the Nettlebane? That's tough, because that hag's surrounded by witches too. But there's no harm in putting that quest off until later.

Climb up to the nearby Stormcloak camp. It has a perfect vantage point of the gorgeous, luscious sixy hagraven. Shoot her sixy body with arrows until she dies.

Try to get a downward angle on them. The top of a building, stairs, whatever. When they shoot up at you, you take a step back, then step forward and fire. (This worked on Krosis to, btw....)

Alas, not carrying any weapons...relying on bound swords and magic attacks at this level with this particular character.

I actually just got her...she wandered across the bridge again to go after my fire elemental, and I dual-wield ice blasted her ugly rear end.

You can run a hag out of magicka. Hide halfway behind a rock and let her shoot fireballs at you while you dodge them. After a few minutes she'll stop and start walking slowly toward you. That's when you blast her with your bow or whatever spells you like most. Easy kill, if you're patient.

Fus Ro Dah her off the rock and then snipe with arrows

fireballs are easy to dodge

alternatively be Dunmer, I honestly had no problem with her

there might also be some floorspikes you could drop her on nearby if you have the skill
