There has been lots of talk about this guy, and as it happens, im torn on a decision. I'm on the Waking Nightmare quest, and need to either kill him and take the skull or let him destroy it.

I ask about Divayth Fyr because he is a known collector of deadric artifacts. The question is, how much value does he put into obtaining these? Im also curious about the choice the forumers chose. Is the skull worth it? I rather like Erandur.

Help me move on in this moral decision!!

Hmmm....for some reason, I imagine him not killing Erandur.

Granted, he IS Telvanni, and he did clone himself to make daughter wives for incist times, so morals might not be his most forward concern.

I dunno, to me, he always seemed to collect Artifacts as a hobby. Doesn't seem like he would murder someone for them.

Didn't he actually let you take the artifacts if you wanted? Once you get past the lock and all.

Basically, he collected artifacts, then ran the Corpsarium. Deciding that's boring, he invited adventurers to try and take some of his artifacts, so long as they don't hurt the inmates in the Corpsarium.

He's a rather mellow fellow. Don't hurt him, his friends, or take the handful of artifacts he wants to keep, and he'll let you get away with murder.

And Erandur strikes me as a rather mellow fellow, who is trying to atone for what he considers his past misdeeds and his helping his friends, trying to keep them from harm. I never met Divayth but if he's as cool as everybody says, I can't see him murdering someone like Erandur just to get the artifact. The people in Dawnstar are being afflicted by a god which is sort of like what I've read corprus is, in a different kind of way, and they've done nothing to deserve it and Erandur is trying to help them. I'd say let him live. But I would say that anyway. I only killed him with my character that was trying to collect all the Daedric stuff and I *hated* myself for it.
