Worse than that, some even raised the question if it's worth buying Skyrim for let me say 40 bucks or so. Though I'm well aware that not everyone has a lot of money at hand, I simply don't get it. A few weeks ago I finally started and finished Dawnguard and not only was it a very well written story with lots of interesting quests and places. You also get a lot of unique items and weapons and a whole new skill tree (were wolf / vampir). The same with Dragonborn, which I started a few days ago. Solstheim is a very beatiful designed island and as far as I can say for now, there are a lot of cool quests inside. Also, you get some useful new abilitys with the black books, new armors and weapons, new alchemy ingredients and a lot more stuff. Do you really consider it as "unworthy" to pay around 15 bucks for a huge DLC which entertains you for about 20-30 hours? Or let's get to going to the main title, Skyrim, itself. Yes, meanwhile it's a one year old game. But why are some people not sure if they should pay 40 bucks for it or not? Just because it's one year old? No! People have to be aware of that, when they buy Skyrim, they paid for a game that offers stuff for 100-1000 hours (or even more). In comparison with the main title, the DLC's may look a little bit expensive. But are they worth it? Absolutely! Really: Would you consider Skyrim + DLC's are too expensive, regarding with the [censored] you often get that costs 60 bucks with a duration of 8-10 hours?
I have to admit, that Skyrim was my very first Elder Scrolls game (shame on me), but definitely not my last. So I probably miss something regarding the complaining guys. But although I recognize that Skyrim may has its flaws (radiant quest system like kill bandit a) in cave
, bugs), it's still a fantastic game with a wonderful and huge world and lot's of exploration. This game and the DLC's are definitely worth their prices. If someone don't buy them, he/she shouldn't raise the question "Is it worth it?", but rather ask himself/herself if Skyrim really fits his/her preferences.I'm looking forward to read your opinions.
