Alright, so I defeat Alduin and decide to get congratulations from some important characters. I get to Delphine and her response is: "Oh, yay, Alduin is gone, but you svck because Paarthurnax is still alive." WHAAAAT? That's all I get? And you too, Esbern?

Okay, earlier they were complaining about harmless Paarthurnax when Skyrim was still under attack, but now I've saved the world and that's still the ONLY thing the Blades can think about! Those fools! If I kill Paarthurnax, what will all the dragons do without a healthy-minded leader to follow? Basically, they're asking me to wreck havoc back on Skyrim. You know what? P.S. Also, completing the main quest while playing as a mage with less then 140 health on Master is possible. Just don't get hit...

Nicely done. I'm nearing the end of the main quest with my pure mage, who still has 100 health. I'm at level 42.

That's because they're not really the Blades anymore, though they say they are. They're nothing but Akaviri Dragonslayers now, with genocide on their minds.

The whole thing makes me miss the language skills from Daggerfall. You could learn to speak Dragon in that one, along with many other languages, instead of everyone just speaking the same language. Not that they were very useful, but there was a lot of potential there. Would be kinda cool to learn Daedric, and have all the daedric runes on things be shown as words instead.

I didn't see the Paarthunax/Blades thing coming. In hindsight, i regret using Skyhaven Temple as a place to store stuff before i got a home. I've got a whole chest full of MY stuff which is now marked red...

I hate Delphine. Pathetic excuse for a Blade. I wish she was flagged killable as soon as you have the first convetsation with her. I would be happy if you could do the MQ without her alive.

I may have missed some plot point, but aren't the Blades supposed to serve the dragonborn? Or was that just the emperor, who happened to be dragonborn?

Anyway, seems like very weak writing to me. This just begs for an expansion where you take control of the Blades and turn the order into DragonKnights who ride good dragons into battle against evil ones.

Dragons who aren't killed by the dragonborn don't actually die, since their soul will return and they'll resurrect, thus why the dragon born is required to permanently kill a dragon via stealing their souls. That said I'd prefer to have the options to convince the Blades to leave Paarthunax alive, since all the other dragons are going to kill people, if Paarthunax can convince them to join in his way of the voice however, they'll become peaceful and not kill people. Sure Paarthunax did do some horrible things at one point but without him the world would have been destroyed already and he has the potential to save yet many more lives.

I only was sad you didn't have an option to say something to Paarthurnax in an apologetic manner but that dragon kind needs to be forever put to sleep and go from there.

Something, I felt bad killing him but my character was rebuilding the blades.

Yes but when you talk to him he tells you that they have a right to not trust him. Even he would trust no other dragon. He stated he has done terrible things and that it is in dragon's blood to try to conquer and rule and he only overcame his desire by meditation ect.

Granted it could have been a ploy on what you said but that is up to interpretation. Also he is immortal as far as age goes but he is not saved from death due to violence or anything of that sort. The blades hunted down the dragons way back when. Alduin was just ressurecting their bodies and restoring them. (Not sure if Paarthurnax has that power or not since it never says)
