Umm, he's saying that either way you play on the 360, whether you install or you don't... you'd be still getting the same textures.

I heard the patch is out and it didn't solve this glitch

post patched game = gold version = official game your going to get on 11th

And was already patched once the issue was not fixed.

Um... is the "day 1 patch out", because it's not day 1 yet...

The person who tweeted Pete didn't make it sound like he was reporting a bug, just seems like a general question to me. If I was Pete I would have answered the same way.

According to that the patch is already out? Thats what he tweeted back to a guy asking if he should wait for the patch to play. Steam already patched my game with a 2.8MB patch then shortly after I got a 3.8Kb patch. Small huh?

The game isn't out yet, so until it is, the Day One patch hasn't landed yet either.

Now, there very well may be an issue with textures on an HDD install version of the game, but no one can know that for sure yet.

Steam? - PC version? - far as we know this is a bug specific to XBox, PC cannot play from disc
